I visited Sunrise of Huntington Beach to look for a place for my sister-in-law who had Jakob's disease. It's a disease of the brain, it's a mad cow disease where the brain deteriorates, and it has similarities to memory care patients. We had an interview, it was very nice, but once they found out what the disease was, they left and researched it, and then told me to get out. It seemed to be a really nice place, but the attitude that they thought I would be contagious, when I'm not the person with the disease. I was kind of shocked by the way they treated me. Even though it may be a nice place, I wouldn't go there because of the way they treated me. The tour was just kind of a walk through, so I don't really know how they're treating the patients, but on the outside it looked very nice.

I really like Sunrise of Huntington Beach. My father complains about the food though. We did a video tour. The dining room had tables and individuals were sat at the table, but they weren't sitting very close together because of the pandemic. They have some activities, but they're not doing as much. The price is comparable to other facilities.

Sunrise of Huntington Beach was a very nice, large facility, but it wasn't suited for my mom. We saw the memory care. The staff was fine and seemed very nice. It's very expensive.
