Paramount House Senior Living was well-maintained and updated. It had more of a hotel feel to it versus a convalescent home. Jennifer gave me the tour and she was very helpful and seemed to know all of the residents by name and said hello to them. She was very aware of the place and even gave me the pros and cons of it. Although she gave me a lot of information, it felt a lot like she was trying to sell me her product.
The memory care was coded and secured so no one could just walk away. The facility is laid out well. Every resident has their own room with their own half bath. I was introduced to the staff (someone that did just medicine and then a coordinator that was there on-site at the time for my tour). They answered my questions and were very pleasant. They seemed to be interacting with the residents and speaking with them directly or helping them.

We liked Paramount House Senior Living, but there wasn't an opening. It was a smaller place, and their pricing was very high compared to the other places we saw. The staff seemed really good and on top of things, and the administrator was awesome with the residents. There was a room close to the hub of everything, and we thought she could almost do their assisted living in that room. The memory care rooms seemed nice and better than where my mom is now. I got a good feeling about the place.

Paramount House seemed very neat and organized. The staff seemed fine. They had little apartments. We didn't choose it because it seemed like it had too much room for my sister and she wouldn't come out often enough.
