I did a tour of Nazareth Rose Garden of Napa. The best part for me was that they had respite available, so that until I'm decided on a final place, they have a two-week program where I know my mom would be safe. The staff seemed caring, and it did not smell like a convalescent home. The rooms were very simple but clean. They have a dining area and a lovely outdoor garden.

We settled on Nazareth Rose Garden of Napa for my dad, and we're moving him today. What I liked was the single floor. It wasn't a dual floor facility, it's all on one level, and the staff was very professional. They have group activities, but they don't force people to participate if they don't want to, the exercise things, music things, the standard stuff, nothing special or outside the parameters of any of the other places. They do have outside space. Each room has a sliding glass door that is monitored by the staff, in either a private or a shared suite, each one of them has access to go outside in the courtyard.

My mom moved into the memory care of Nazareth Rose Garden of Napa and it seems a very good place. I like their sort of all-in-one approach. Of course, there are always additional charges, but it wasn't quite as granular as some. I also like the smooth transition into hospice care when the time comes. It just seemed like the best choice. The director seemed very competent, capable, and helpful too. The day she checked in, they were having a luau. They were having Hawaiian music and a guy with a ukulele. The price was on the low end, though not as cheap as some. I found that it does seem like the best value.

We were happy with Nazareth Napa Rose Garden. I liked the place and the services they provided. The people working there are all great. We had a good experience there.

Nazareth Napa Rose Garden is a well-run facility. It's very clean and comfortable. The staff always welcomes us. My brother has been there for a couple of years. He has dementia and he is getting excellent care. They offer different activities for the residents. They always have something going on for them.

I look for about a month trying to find a new place for my wife. She was in another assisted living and she was losing weight. She was losing 2 lbs a month. I knew I had to move her. I like Nazareth Napa Rose because it's clean and she stopped losing weight. I also like the people over there because they're friendly. It's not the most expensive, probably not the cheapest, but it's in the middle range. I've eaten there and the food is a little more than adequate. Her room is enough for her. It has a good bed, night stand and lamp. Across the room by the window is her bathroom and walk-in closet. I'm very happy with Marisol and the staff.

I have looked at places back in January when I was thinking of moving my mom. Nazareth Napa Rose Garden was the first one to respond to my inquiry. I saw some other facilities but I just had a really good feeling that Nazareth Napa Rose Garden is where I will move my mom. Every aspect of the place was good including Mirasol’s professionalism and every people I talked to who work there was great. One thing that really impressed me was that everybody has been there in fair amount of time including Mirasol. She’s been there for like 15 years. The lowest staff time there was around 5 years. The staff is very helpful and all of the residents are taken care of. I’ve been totally satisfied with everything there. It’s a small place and they have around 38 people which I really like. It’s not fancy like a resort type of facility but it’s clean and very functional. They all have what they need. The staff is very responsive to my questions and they’re right there to help me. I’ve eaten there a few times. Their food tastes fine. It’s a challenge to feed seniors but they try to accommodate the resident's’ preferences. The keep the residents active and motivated. Everytime I go there, there’s always something going on. They have snacks, movies and people singing which I think is a big plus.

I've been very happy with the care they provided for my father. He used to be in a different facility and he needed more care so we transferred him to Nazareth Napa Rose Garden. Marisol and Angela evaluated him and he was able to transfer successfully. Since he moved, he was always clean and out of his bed. They keep him and the other residents mobile. The staff is very kind and loving towards the residents. I met the workers in the kitchen and they’re all very kind. Marisol is tremendous. She works very hard and is always very friendly. She’s wonderful and I think she’s a saint! The food is fine; my father has a special diet. Overall they do a good job!
