The staff at Oakmont of Covina is amazing. Everything they do has a specific reason that benefits my mom in the memory care. It's a brand new facility. When you walk in, they make you feel like a family. My mom just went in last Thursday, and it's been an amazing experience so far. They treat them with respect and dignity, and I really like that.
They have a nice dining room, activity rooms, and indoor/outdoor activities. There are things going on all the time that engage them. It's wonderful. They only stay in their room pretty much just to sleep.
They have executive chefs, and the food is absolutely amazing. We ate two meals with mom. My daughter went to an open house that they had, and she tasted food from around the world. 90% of the food that they do is fresh, and it is as good as any restaurant I've ever been to.
