Glen Park of Monrovia is an older facility, with very mix-matched furnishings, it's in the low-end of the facilities that we saw. The staff was very friendly though, but we were very disappointed with their administration who never got back to us. We had to call them three separate times trying to touch base on pricing. A week after our visit, she finally called me back, which we had already selected a place, and we were leaning towards them. That was the first facility we saw, and then once we saw the other ones, by far the other ones outplayed Monrovia. It was closest to our home, but their professionalism was not there, their patients didn't look as well cared for. They weren't dressed as nicely for the day, 'cause many of them had to be dressed by their caregivers, and to me, that's a reflection of the facility. They did not let us see rooms for patients, we only saw staged rooms. The caregiving staff was very friendly. They also did not allow visitors inside due to Covid, and all the other places with guidelines do allow it, which was also a big deciding factor. I get they're being cautious, but everyone else has to take your temperature sanitizing, we had to have our vaccines and all that stuff. They would allow us to be able to come and be with our family member once he does move inside.
