For more than 20 years, Silvergate Retirement Residence has been providing premier independent living, assisted living, and memory care to North San Diego County. Located in the quaint village of Fallbrook, our community is conveniently close to shopping and medical facilities. With one inclusive monthly rate, residents receive three daily meals, weekly housekeeping & flat linen service, utilities (excluding cable and phone), scheduled transportation, 24-hour reception and security on-site, 24-hour emergency response system, apartment maintenance and repair, reserved parking, and a full calendar of exciting activities, programs and scheduled outings.
Silvergate also offers various customized assisted living services at an additional cost. Our Director of Resident Care, along with our licensed nurses and 24-hour caregivers, ensure residents are provided with the assistance needed, at the moment it's needed. Some of the care services available include: medication management, assistance with activities of daily living (such as bathing, dressing and grooming), escort assistance, weight and blood pressure monitoring, continence assistance, and diabetes care management.
For residents living with Alzheimer's or related dementias, Silvergate's Memory Care Suites are designed to feel like home, but offer the safety of a secured perimeter, high-level supervision, and around-the-clock security. The monthly rate includes: private or semi-private accommodations, licensed nursed available daily, daily meals and snacks, staff trained in memory impairment, 24-hour monitoring and supervision, regular reminders and redirection, specialized programs and activities, daily housekeeping services, and secure outside grounds.

Everyone says at every facility that "the staff is wonderful." That is doubly true here. From the executives on down, every person is focused on resident comfort, safety, and quality of life. Concerns are listened to and addressed promptly. This is a place that takes care of more than just the basics of cleanliness and food. There are activities, entertainment, parties, presentations, and even nights when people can get a little dressed up for a more formal dinner.
My dad and I had a really hard time when we came to the conclusion that he couldn't care for Mom on his own any more. But, we have never regretted our decision to have her move to Silvergate. It's the kind of place everyone thinks _should_ exist for people as they get older, but is rarely found.

This facility and staff are focused on a family atmosphere. The staff is caring and responsive. Names are on a first name basis which I really like. The Med techs are thorough and on time with administering medications. They prioritize having an activities director who stimulates the residents with fun and engaging activities.
Meals are good, nutritious and are served on a consistent timetable the residents can rely on.
Financially, the billing is consistent and is identical every month. No surprises.
I think Silvergate is probably the best facility of it’s kind in Southern California, if not the whole state.

From the moment I toured Silvergate and met the staff, I knew this would be the right place for my mother in law. Even with her dementia, she was very comfortable in her new home. Everyone welcomed her as family. Throughout her care all the staff was so kind and caring which made our family relieved to know she would receive the attention she needed.
I will always be so grateful for the professionalism and love they gave to my mother in law.
Even up to the moment of her death they were right there holding her hand.
Forever grateful to Silvergate.

My Fathet lived at Silvergate for several years in both Assisted Living and Memory Care. My brother and I looked at many places and so thankful we agreed upon Silvergate which was where my Father wanted to go...best decision ever! I spent almost every weekend there for years and I miss it so much! The staff and caregivers are phenomenal...great food and my Father's apartment was clean and beautiful. Silvergate Fallbrook holds a dear and special place in my heart.

Our mother has lived at Silvergate for 6 years independently. She was very active in the activities provided. She turned 100 years old last February and has since moved to the memory care. She is so well taken care of there! She still is active in the daily activities provided by Silvergate & is never left alone. The employees at Silvergate are absolutely wonderful! They make it a fun place to live. We trust them completely with our precious Mom! They are all kind, compassionate, friendly, and helpful. If Mom gets confused someone is always nearby to soothe her. The employees keep us up to date on how mom is doing & are always available to answer any questions we might have.
To sum it up, there is no better place than Silvergate for your loved to receive such a high quality of care!
They go above & beyond for the residents and their families.
