My mom will move to Murrieta Gardens. I like that their staff is better trained in memory care. I like that I saw more hands-on with the clients. Where some places you go, residents were like sitting with nothing to do. Every time we were there, I saw people engaged. If it was just watching TV or if it was playing a game or crafts, I saw a lot more hands-on caring. I like the fact that they're all-inclusive where you don't have to deal with the level of care, which makes it a lot easier for you to budget the facility. I like that the facility is fairly modern, too. They have a lot of diverse backgrounds, which I think are very important. They give you a better insight into dealing with people that have memory issues. Everybody came up and introduced themselves when I walked in, and it wasn't just the person during the tour. My mom and wife were there last week. They had lunch with them and met some of the ladies that are on the same level as my mom, so she could already start meeting people. They have a beauty salon inside there, and a lady comes in once a week, and you just pay her directly. Another person comes in and does nails. They have a hygienist that comes in. You can get teeth cleaning, and you go through them. They offer that as a service as well.

My mother-in-law lives in Murrieta Gardens and she has been doing a lot of activities there. She has gone bowling and has been taking communion. They called and told me when they were going to ask the doctor for a new prescription. So, they do complete communication with you. Her room is very nice. It is big and has a private room. I like that the bathroom has its own attached chair in the shower on the wall so they don't even have to take it out or take it in. It's comfortable. The staff is wonderful. Especially Brittney and Mary, and all the of them. They made me feel like I was family. I felt at home. I even want to go there when I get old. Britney used to be a caregiver so she has that personal aspect of how to care for somebody. She makes them feel like it's home. She worked with me on the price, because we were on a budget. We also like that there's no level of care there. It's just all memory care and they have a set price. The food and dining area is nice and homey, professional and very clean. Maintenance and upkeep are wonderful. My mother-in-law doesn't have to feel like she's trapped in a facility. She has open grounds to go outdoors. It is gated and secure so she can go far enough. It's got a beautiful view where you could sit down on a bench. There's no alarm system to keep her in.

Murrieta Gardens was OK, but it was a smaller facility. The staff was very nice. I saw the dining area, and it was OK. It was an older building, and it had the smell of an older building. They had a lot of areas where the residents could watch TV or things like that. I didn't care for their outdoor area because it wasn't well kept. There were tables and chairs, but there wasn't too much greenery.

I toured Murrieta Gardens for my dad and it was amazing. It was the first facility I toured. The staff was wonderful. They were so kind, so helpful, and so compassionate. You can tell that they love what they're doing. The community is a small community; I was told maybe about 50 residents. It was a little bit on the older side, but that didn't deter from what they did. They seemed to have a good amount of activities for their residents. The staff knew who the residents were by name. They were a really great facility, and they were helpful in decision-making and everything, and even with follow up. The apartments hwere actually really nice, although it was an older building. It was very nice and clean. You would think an older building would have different scents or stains on the walls or anything, but it wasn't anything like that. The dining area was nice, big, and open with lots of natural light. They actually have several small outdoor spaces. They are like little gardens and very peaceful.

Murrieta Gardens is sort of outdated inside, so it could use more polish to bring it more up-to-date. I like the price, and I like the staff. She gave me the tour, and she was very informative, knowledgeable, and helpful. She showed me the rooms. I like the fact that the room is big. My aunt would have her own bathroom, so she doesn't have to share any bathroom; I like that. For the pros about that one, it has more diversity as far as the residents. They have happy hours. When I walked in, they were doing a workout class. What I like about that class is that it was with a live person.

Murrieta Gardens was nice and we liked it. We just wanted a bigger place for my mom. They didn't have central air which is also one thing I needed for my mom. The rooms were nice and big, but they had little air-conditioners in them which I didn't like.

Murrieta Gardens also has memory care. The staff was very hospitable to me, answered all the questions that I had, and showed me the rooms and all the places. I saw residents out and about, they were all dressed nicely and seemed well-taken care of. They have different kinds of rooms in memory care. There's shared rooms, smaller rooms, and Jack and Jill rooms that connect to shared bathrooms.

Murrieta Gardens and its staff was much older. It was a two-story, and we were looking for a one-story facility. What we noticed was the smell, which was a real turn-off for us. This was the first place that we toured, and we liked it. The rooms were nice. It seemed like they were more assisted living than memory care.

I had visited Murrieta Gardens. It was more like a hospital. It felt very cold. It appeared that there was a lot of confusion like a lot of the employees running around, and it didn't appear that they knew what they were doing. The rooms were probably 12 x 14 with 2 beds in them. The place was just cold and clinical. The dining area looked OK, but they had plastic tablecloths. Again, it was cold and uninviting.

Murrieta Gardens is what I chose for my mother. I like it because she has her own little apartment, and she can keep her dog. She has been there for three or four months now. They take good care of her and make sure she stays active. It took a long time for her to recover from a fall, but she is doing well now. I would recommend them.

I thought Murrieta Gardens Senior Living was quite nice, but it was just too expensive for us. Also, I didn't think my mom-in-law would like to be in a large facility. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the people seemed nice. It seemed like they had some activities for the residents. It wasn't a luxurious place. They gave me a loaf of nut bread that they baked in their kitchen, and it was very good. If their food is anything like the nut bread, then it must be pretty good.

I visited Murrieta Gardens for my mother-in-law. It was excellent. We were given informative tours, and the staff was friendly and welcoming and so were the residents. The residents were amazing. They were actively participating in activities. They were together and were not in their rooms most of the day. They were involved in activities, e.g., there were singing and cooking. The facility was clean. It was carefully planned and laid out nicely. That's the place that I would have chosen for my mother. The rooms were fair. They were adequate. They were acceptable and satisfactory.

I visited Murrieta Gardens, and it was a lot smaller, but everyone seemed happy, and they were very helpful. The rooms were average; they were not large but not real small either, and it was nice just for one person. I can't think of anything that they can improve on really. Everybody was happy -- the patients, the staff. It was very nice and very clean.

Murrieta Gardens was good. We were there on a weekend, and they have limited staff, but they seemed to be very caring and wanted to make sure the residents were comfortable. They needed some updating, but for the most part they were clean and comfortable, and they have the amenities for residents of that age. They have a calendar of activities that they do like yoga, bridge, gaming, and recreational stuff. They need a bit more updating.

I did look at one place in California for both of my parents. It is called Murrieta Gardens. It is very nice, and it looks like a nice place. The staff seems very nice. My mother has Alzheimer's, so that is another reason they decided against that. They have to be separated, and my dad didn't want to do that. It seems nice, but I didn't look at it very closely once I knew they couldn't be together in a place or it would be too expensive. The atmosphere seemed nice, and the sanitation is excellent.

I knew about Murrieta Gardens from a friend. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were very nice. The dining room was nice and very homey. The place was very secured and safe. They had activities like they do crafts for them. They had kids that come in and do little performances. They played games with them, and they had all kinds of things.

The Murrieta Gardens was really nice. They just weren't suited for my wife. They changed the staff quite often and that became a problem because all the new faces confused her. But if I were to recommend one, I would recommend Murrieta Gardens first. The dining room was very clean. They do have activities; they have a schedule.

The staff at Murrieta Gardens was fabulous. They were prompt, I was greeted in timely fashion, and they took me on the tour and answered all my questions. Actually, they were really good and I still get emails from them when they are having luaus or Bingo night. They have a lot of activities going on over there for the seniors. They seemed to be on top of their activities and they kept things moving. There were nice little places where they had video game systems, for playing bowling and stuff like that, and they had a very nice cafeteria dining room area. It was very nice because I have in-laws who live in an assisted living place right now, so I was able to compare that to this one, and this one was cleaner and more up-to-date But it was a much smaller place, which is probably why they are able to cater to everybody's needs better. The dietitian knew who liked what or what meals they liked,; they knew the people. It was great. I'll live there when I am old.

I liked the family environment feel of Murrieta Gardens. It wasn't so big that you didn't know everybody, and the dining room was cozy. Everybody had their independence, and it was a multi-level of how much independence you needed. You could pay for more care, but my great aunt at that time was fairly independent, and they kept a small number, so it wasn’t more than they can handle. They attended to everybody really well, and they had entertainment and activities; I really liked that. My grandma was also there for respite care when she had surgery, but she ended up in a locked facility.

I was just impressed with Murrieta Gardens. It seemed like it was a true communal living environment. We looked at the dining room and everything was really neat. People seemed happy and they were being engaged all the time. They had their ways to spend their day. I was really impressed by this facility and I would like my mom to go somewhere like that.

Mom-in-law is at Murrieta Gardens and it's nice that it's close to us. It's a small community and the staff knows the residents by their first names. The food is good and mom likes the facility. So far so good.

My husband was at Murrieta Gardens. It's a large facility. They have assisted living as well as a memory care section. They have two massive, big buildings with private rooms. They have activities and outings and a lovely dining room, but they are extremely expensive.

I like absolutely nothing about Murrieta Gardens. The residents didn't look happy. That's a big thing, when you walk in and the residents don't seemed happy. The staff was unknowledgeable. It gave me the creeps. They had one room that was all fixed up which was small. They had decorated it nice, but they were always nicer when they were model homes. I was not impressed with that at all. It didn't seemed to be the cleanest of places. When you first walked in there, the first floor was the memory care and the people with Alzheimer's and your impression if don?t know that was: "Are these people unhappy? Are they drugged up?". It was way different from the other places we visited and I didn't had a good feeling.

I'm pleased with it. They seemed to be pretty taking good care of my husband. He is adopted very well and they keep him involved with all the activities that they have. I don’t really know with regards to their activities, but I know that they take them on outings. They had a thanksgiving last night. They have a tree lighting ceremony on the first part of December. They have a church service on Sunday morning and I go over there and sit with my husband for that. They have two activity rooms.

This is a great facility. Residents are treated with the utmost respect by the staff, who are committed to keeping the community safe and secure. Neighbors are friendly and warm, and often sit out on the porches chatting with people passing by. They have golf and community events to keep folks entertained. Overall, a top notch retirement community.

I volunteered at this facility. I was really pleased with how courteous the staff were to the residents. There is always an activity going on for the residents to choose, whether it is listening to a story, watching t.v., playing board games or talking with the volunteers. From time to time the facility has performances by the local schools. I really loved the garden they have, it is filled with pretty flowers, shade trees, ferns and each type of plant has a placard with a description about it. There is also a designated smoking area. They have all the residents on a schedule and everyone seems to be happy with it. The cafeteria has a lot of variety. The residents have the option to choose what course they want for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a few snacks throughout the day. They have visiting hours where friends and families are able to visit residents and see their living space. The visitors are allowed to sit in on group time and enjoy the garden. Overall this facility seems to be a very respectful place for residents to live.
