About This Community

Balance Assisted Living & Memory Care is an assisted living and memory care Community located in Lodi, CA. We offer activities at their location for residents. These activities generally allow residents to maintain healthy lifestyles by encouraging movement and socializing with their peers.

Being able to chat with other residents becomes an important part of many peoples' lives and we offer common spaces indoors to support that need.

Staff is awake and available 24 hours a day so if any emergencies occur no matter the time, there will be someone ready to help. Making sure residents with diabetes monitor their insulin levels is clearly an important task and we can help with that task. If a resident needs assistance moving from a bed to a wheelchair, this facility has staff who can help.

My mother will be moving into Balance Assisted Living and Memory Care today so it will be her first day in the facility. We chose it because it's a smaller community so it seems to be staffed better than the other ones that I was looking at. They have a lot of caregivers too, and a lot of people around. They're redoing it so that her living area and her room are brand-new so it makes it nice for her to be in that spot. Everybody's friendly. They've introduced themselves and they've been here for a long time so those are kind of important factors. They're very attentive and that's another good thing. I tried their food and the meal was good. They have a diverse menu and meals that are excellent. They have exotic meals and they have down-to-earth ones. Then they have the regular ones if my mom doesn't want to order what was on the menu that day. She could just order a grilled cheese sandwich or several different items they always have available to the residents. They seemed to be well-staffed to facilitate the needs of the residents, especially those that are in the memory care facility.

My parents moved to Balance Assisted Living and Memory Care primarily because of the location. We've had great experiences with them, so far. The food and the staff are wonderful. At this point, we don't have any issues. The staff has a great attitude. My parents have been raving about the food, they love it. They do activities like bingo, and they have activities outside. The facilities are very nice. They do haircutting and they have a courtyard where people can hang out.

Balance Assisted Living & Memory Care has been very caring, so far. They take good care of my mom. She's in memory care. Right now, they're shut down because of COVID. They are in the process of remodeling everything. Things are a little chaotic at the moment, but it's still looking nice. In the dining area they have tables, and people sitting at them like a community. They work with you pretty closely to get the move-in to happen, so I'm happy with that.
