Sunrise of Walnut Creek wasn't a good fit for us. It's designed for single people (I'm looking for a place for both my parents). They only had two couples living there and all of their rooms are studios, so they're way too small. It's a little older and a little more dated. Plus, they're designed to accommodate people with more medical issues. So, it felt a little bit more like a nursing home. Other than that, I liked that they have a music guy coming in and that the dining area was adequate and felt nice. The memory care staff was excellent and my tour guide was knowledgeable.

My father-in-law moved into the Sunrise of Walnut Creek. They're very attentive. The facility is very clean, professional, and it feels like they're pretty personable. I think the staff is very good. I think the activities are very limited. They have the program, but I think they could be much better.
