I did a tour of Ponte Palmero. The atmosphere was very friendly. They allow pets, so I thought that was a great thing. They have a big emphasis on keeping everybody busy, and they incorporated a lot of music into their activities. It's kind of a more personalized approach. The rooms were very nice. It's a nice garden area. The activities director herself spoke with me, and she's worked there for eight years. She was completely enthusiastic and loves her work, loves the clients. It had a very nice feel about it. It's small; that to me is always a good thing as well.
I liked it quite a bit, that would be my choice right now for her. They don't have availability, but she's not ready to go right now anyway. For me, it's quite close to where I live, that is another advantage. I had a very safe, personalized feeling about it.
