Alex and his team at Golden Retreat in Vista cared for my 94-year old Father. They were kind and attentive to his needs. They provided my Father with the physical and emotional memory care that he needed and helped to reduce his anxiety. Alex has a real rapport with my Father. Alex, Donna, and their staff are very observant regarding any health issues and were excellent at letting me know right away.
The facility is very clean, comfortable, and home-like and there is a nice patio that my Father enjoyed on sunny days. The menu is developed by their on-staff dietitian and is nutritious and really good. My Father clearly enjoyed the meals that they served.
I am so grateful for the care that Alex, Donna and their staff gave to my Father.

It's been about a month since we moved my husband to Golden Retreat in Vista. I sense immediately that there was real care there and that they cared about him. He's receiving memory care. The place is spotless clean as it can be. They have a lovely patio deck in the backyard so he gets to go outside. Sometimes they have live music. They also bring in pet therapy and bird therapy or they take him out for rides in the van. The food is very nourishing and healthy. They are taking care of his diabetic diet so they're making sure he gets the right kind of food for his diabetes. They've gotten him to the doctor and they've taken him to the barber too. It's just wonderful care.
