I visited Rosewood in Bakersfield. It was great and if I have to go somewhere, that's probably the place I would want to go to. I actually know somebody that is going there, that's the reason why I decided I'd rather go there myself too. I love the setup that they have for everybody's needs. Whoever needs their services, they have it set up so that they provide the services that each person requires. I really like the way they set up their services according to what your age is, what care you need and things like that.
They have a lot of activities like painting classes for my mother, they have a lot of memory classes too, just little things to get her memory going. For younger residents, they have walking in the community, painting, and gardening. They have a lot of nice activities. They have a gardening club too.
Also, when my daughter was in high school, they would go to Rosewood and play for the residents on Christmas. They also would go and do cheers. It was a really nice thing when that was going on before the COVID came.
