I caution people from using this facility. They claim to have completed a through evaluation, but they did not, yet took a 1500.00, deposit from my 91+ year old mother. My father never had a evaluation, as he was so sick the day the RN came to complete the evaluation, that he was in bed sleeping. The RN gave the the test to my mom, and said, " yeah, John passed." At that time, and until he passed 3 days later, he was unable to walk, get himself to the bathroom or eat. He deteriorated very quickly after he had radiation and passed away 4/30/22.
I arrived 4/29/22 and called Elegante asking for a re-evaluation (not knowing that one was NEVER completed), as I feared he was deteriorating beyond their level of care and asked for a re-evaluation. NO call back. My dad passed on 4/30/22. Still no call back. I left them a messaged 4/30, pm letting them know he passed. Still NO call back. On 5/2/2020 I called again, this time in regards to the $1500.00 deposit and was told they would NOT refund the money. We did not go somewhere different, My dad died. We did not have a body to fill the room. Still refused to refund the money.
