I went to SummerHouse Heritage Woods. The memory care area was on the bottom floor which makes it easy to take care of them in case of emergencies so that they won't have to be so scattered trying to get the people to safety because they are right there. Easy in, easy out, but they are secure, and they are coded in and coded out so that they will be secure. My dad sometimes might wander off, which makes it a lot more comforting that he will be secure inside. There's a big, common area where he can do the crafts and watch TV, and the nurse is right there in that area just close to him. Some are shared rooms, and some are not. Some might want a companion there but they got their own bedrooms, with a common area, like a roommate kind of thing, and some have their own private area. They do have that choice. They're nice and clean, well taken care of. They were cleaning up in the dining area. It looks nice and clean and they had a couple of staff members, who were nice and friendly. They have a nice area. The setup is excellent for them. The dining area was a big, cleaner room for the residents, in and out, and a nice mingling area. It's like a little restaurant up in there.
