We are choosing The Terrace at Priceville for my mother. First of all, it offers memory care, which is what Mom needs. It was clean, nice, and recently renovated. It had very, very friendly staff. They had an open space that was fenced in. It opens up into a courtyard area, but I don't think it's closed completely. It's got a fenced in garden area around it, and it's actually pretty large. When I was there, they were pointing out to me that some of the residents were growing a butterfly garden there. One of the residents, who was a man, wanted some vegetables, so they've agreed to put up a vegetable garden in the view of his window, because he wanted to watch them grow.
Each room has its own temperature controlled unit. They've got synthetic hardwood floors. The staff who showed me around was very, very nice. She was super in touch with all of the residents around there. She was very knowledgeable about the process and was friendly.
It's not a brand-new place, but it was very well-maintained. It was very nice, in particular, the interior. The grounds and everything were good.
