Heritage is a beautiful place. They have a swimming pool, which is a plus. It's just three or four years old, so it's newer. The one we looked at was a one-bedroom, and it was quite large and very good. I liked it. When you walked in, there was like an island with chairs and things that you could work on. They have a microwave, stalls, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, and a washer and dryer. The staff was very friendly and willing to answer questions. She had answers to most of my questions.

My tour at Heritage Muskego was nice, and the staff was very friendly and very explanatory. They had a billiard table, there's a pool, indoor and outdoor areas where there are sitting rooms, and there are activity rooms. The patio was really nice, they have underground parking, and they have a theater. The staff is fabulous, and the dining area was very lovely and well lit. The tables were a set of four, there are windows, and it was all very nicely set with the table and place settings and centerpiece, and it was very nice. We went into the activity room and saw all the arts and crafts they had. There are glass jars made into watermelon slices, and there are paintings by some of the doors of the units of the people that live there, and they were paintings that they made in an activity class.

I went to Heritage Muskego. The person who gave us the tour was very capable and very friendly. I was very pleased. She showed us what we were interested in, which is a two-bedroom, and it made a very good impression. The rooms were spacious. The only thing I thought that was missing was some type of a hobby room where you could do things like wood carving, stained glass, or things of that nature. It appeared clean, they had nice facilities, and the personnel I dealt with were very friendly. The place itself was very nice. It's laid out very nice, and it had a little walking path, but the surrounding areas leave a little bit to be desired.

We chose Heritage Muskego and we're moving in soon. It's beautiful, it has the two-bedroom that we're looking for, and they have a pool and other amenities that I liked. The staff is excellent, friendly, and very helpful. They have various activities that I did not check out at that time. They have a physical therapist that my husband can use, they have a workout room, and we're told the food is good. I talked with other people that have been there, and they said the food is good, a dietitian has set up the menu, and so it's adequate. The facility is kept up pretty nicely.

Heritage Muskego is very modern and well-maintained, it's fairly upper-class in a way. The staff was very accommodating, she did a thorough job and showed us upstairs and downstairs. I was shown the single residences, they're updated and follow the latest trends. They have activities for the residents like vacation plans or entertainment if I remember correctly. It's kind of a neat feeling, you're not sure how much there is to see. I wanted to explore further just to see how big it is, and when you're there you just can't wait to find out.

My parents live at Heritage Senior Living in Muskego. Last Thursday night their underground parking structure was flooded. Twenty cars were totaled- with water up to the cup holders. Storage contents were ruined. Administration at Heritage held a meeting Monday and promised they’d provide updates to inform residents of the status. All they offered was “IT WAS AN ACT OF GOD,” i.e. “YOU’RE SCREWED.” The only help offered to 80 and 90 year old people was a *%##^ dumpster to put the contents of items in their ruined in storage. The facility has a bus and refused to even provide rides to people who had scheduled doctor appointments before they were able to get out and purchase a car. This is just one example of the lack of attention and services my family has observed as we’ve dealt with Heritage. For the price the residents are paying, they could do much better elsewhere.

We toured the independent living side of Heritage Muskego. Everything was very nice. I was impressed with them, the only problem I found was that they did not have an enclosed or underground parking, which I felt was very important to me. The staff was very nice, answered all our questions, showed us everything, and I liked the location.
