I've committed myself to go to Chai Point. I've done my tours and worked it out and that's typically the best for me. Part of the reason I'm going here is that I'm Jewish. It's a 2-bedroom apartment that we plan on getting. It's a little smaller than the place I'm living in now and in an environment that is much better protected. It's very Jewish, although there are some non-Jewish people living there, but you don't have to participate in the religious events. The people are very supportive. It's in an excellent location. It's on the lakefront and it's a beautiful structure. It has a two-bedroom apartment with an elevator and the ability to cook your own food. It's got a complete kitchen and there is a dining facility in the place. It's expensive, but it's within our budget, and I find that the food there is good and the people are quite companionable. The way they run the place is good. They're very friendly, and the people seem to be highly independent. When I mentioned that I'll be moving there, the people were pleased to hear that. It's very close to what I was looking for. I've known about it for years. I've given talks there as a college professor. I see no reason not to go there. They're nice people. They have a proper restaurant. It's expensive, but it's a good place to eat. It's almost like eating in your own kitchen. They treat you like you're the owner. I have not had a meal that I didn't like. When people don't like what's on the menu, and oftentimes it's just something simple like scrambled eggs, they'll make you scrambled eggs instead of whatever is on the menu. The parking is superb. They have good indoor contained parking. If you are living there, you can stay indoors pretty much regularly. The whole block is a single building. Couples can go there, like when one of them is not feeling well, one can end up in the Jewish home, which is the hospital portion, and the other one can live at Chai Point.

Chai Point was an excellent place. The facility itself was elegant. The apartments were exceptionally lovely with large spaces and big windows. The dining room and the food were great. It had a lot of activities. It had arts like music, literature and painting.
