Merrill Gardens at Renton Centre is a very nice facility. Nothing's bad about it at all. It's just that downtown Renton is the one they're at, and the neighborhood is just getting a little bit challenging. Crime is higher in the area, and they're not flexible. They've got rigid rules. They will not accommodate things. My parents are not allowed to park their scooters down in their garage. So it's a big thing to do, carrying your stuff back upstairs into the elevator with limited mobility. It is a big hassle.
The staff is nice. They're great and the food is really good. If it weren't for the fact that it's so big and they have to abide by very strict rules and Renton is the neighborhood that is not good anymore, it is a perfect place for my parents. Also, they've got all kinds of stuff. There are arts and crafts, and physical therapy, and they've enjoyed that.
