About This Community
Two Picture-Perfect Locations. Both locations offer a Christian Life Plan Community. Cristwood is set on a beautiful 55-acre campus just north of Seattle and is home to seniors living independently, who need additional assistance with daily living, or who need memory care. Crista Shores is located on the shores of Dyes Inlet in Silverdale, which offers waterfront views where community and lifestyle blend with ease. The independent living apartments face the water. With both independent living and assisted living options and a variety of floor plans, Crista Shores is a breathtaking community where retirement living affords relaxation, exploration, and curiosity.

My mom was at Crista Shores - A Crista Senior Living Community. It was very nice and the good part about it is that it is a Christian-based facility and many people from her church retired there. It was very familiar and very comfortable. It had a five-star rating all the way through. It was beautiful; it's out on the water. It's right in the heart of town. If you were able to get around a walk, you could walk to almost any store, restaurant, or anything. It was a beautiful place. It was nice. They had a lot of activities. They have church services there. They had a lot of games, but my mom didn't get involved with a lot of the games, and she really wasn't a game player, but she just loves to socialize and talk. There was a lot of that knowing she had friends upstairs and downstairs. The food was like a five-star restaurant because you had your choices and then they were bringing them to you during COVID. The price was less than what she's paying now for an apartment. It was only $3500 there, but that's Washington, and we're in California, so it is to be expected. I ate there a few times, and it was very good. She was only there for four years, and then her memory started declining. They needed to have her placed into assisted living, but she didn't want to be in assisted living.

We really liked Crista Shores. The facility is in a beautiful location. All the apartments faced one form of water or another. The grounds are very nicely maintained. We met a few residents who were very complimentary about the place.
We saw one apartment. The 2-bedroom and 1-bedroom apartments are a good size relative to the size of places that we have visited elsewhere; a little larger and naturally equipped. With the activities that they offer, the schedule, and the things that go on, it looks like a very active community for both the residents themselves as well as the staff that are there.

My mother-in-law is at Crista Shores for many years now. The place is beautiful. It looks out to an ocean right from her apartment. It’s really a wonderful place. The staff is very polite and very helpful as well.

I have visited Crista Shores several times. I have a friend living there, and it is quite nice. She speaks highly of the food and of the staff. I think the rooms are a little small. I like it. The staff seems very capable and friendly.

I visited Crista Shores, and the staff was wonderful, showed me everything, and gave me a lot of information. The rooms were very nice, and I liked them very much. The staff took us to lunch, the food was excellent, and there was a very pleasant dining room. They have the usual activities and tours. Security and safety are very good.
