I went to Mountlake Terrace Plaza. It was nice but it was too small. I like the location. The general amenities were nice, but I thought the place was so small and cramped to me. The appearance of the rooms was very nice. They were of adequate size, but it was not what I was looking for. They had a beauty salon area, a barber shop area, and exercise facilities, and they were close to other outside sources of activities.

My brother-in-law will be moving into Mountlake Terrace Plaza. We chose the place because the price was reasonable, and they seemed friendly. It had an actual bedroom, and the facility was very nice.

Mountlake Terrace Plaza was a community that we were seriously thinking about for my mother. They had a nice room with lots of storage, and it was pretty moderately priced. I had a meal there and it was good. The only thing is that my mother was going to need more care than could be given there. Another reason we went elsewhere is because this community didn't have a studio available, they only had a one-bedroom apartment, so we went to its sister community instead. I liked this community. It was nice, the rooms were nice, and the staff seemed nice. The only thing that's concerning is they share their registered nurse with their affiliate community rather than each having their own. Some communities you go to have a registered nurse on site from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., so I wanted to put my mom somewhere with an actual registered nurse. They have activities for the residents. People come in and play music every week, especially in the summer. They serve hors d'oeuvres and residents can come down. It's sort of a social event for them. They also have field trips and so forth as well. If not for their nursing staff I would rate them a four, but I'm a little apprehensive that they don't have their own nurses. The nurse that I talked to was quite accommodating and she was willing to work with me. In terms of facilities, they didn't have as many common spaces as the community we ended up with, but it's in a nice location. It's kind of a woodsy neighborhood with nice green spaces around it.

The person who showed me around Mountlake Terrace was very well versed, covered everything I needed to know, and answered all my questions. They were in the middle of a remodel. I saw a couple of apartments. I wasn't particularly taken with the location of it, but that has nothing to do with the facility itself. The room was the size that I'd be looking for. They offered linen service, Kosher meals, and wellness check every day, where if they don't hear from you then someone checks on you. They have open dining. The staff provided a lot of information. The people were friendly.

Mountlake Terrace Plaza was very nice. The apartments were very nice. Everything was really nice, especially the dining area, which they had open from 7:00 to 7:00, so you aren't stuck eating at a certain time. The place was just gorgeous. Everyone was very friendly. They fed us while we were there, and it was very good. The chef makes it for you fresh and everything was done naturally.

I chose Mountlake Terrace Plaza for myself. When I went in, the staff were very friendly. There is this atmosphere there that is very homey. They have good food, and their apartments are reasonable. They have lots of activities listed, and they are great. The gal that does the activities was very good. I have a one bedroom apartment with a small kitchen.

The thing we did not like about Merrill Gardens was that the rooms were way too small but it's a pretty place and they had lots of activities. The woman who showed us around was very helpful and we liked her. I didn't meet any of the other staff.
