Woodrose Apartments was good. I thought the building was fine and the grounds were well taken care of. The lady who assisted me was wonderful. I had a friend that lived in the facility and she was always happy with it. They have various things going on at different times. Sometimes they have movies and sometimes they do potlucks. The rooms were very, very clean and well done. Just that financial things didn't add up for me, they didn't have any two bedrooms that I was looking for, and there was no dishwasher in the unit, but I thought it was well kept up and everything.

The management is the worst, slow to respond and then they (she) talks down to the residents. the manager didn't know I was standing right there when she talked bad to my mom. I guess I heard once it was much better. If she hates her job , quit, but don't take it out on everyone else. Mom says she talks bad about her bosses all the time and blames everything on them?

Woodrose Apartments is a nice facility, but it's outside the price range that I was looking for. We were shown the amenities and facilities in the common-use areas. The common-use areas were very nice and very clean. They have very friendly staff. They have rooms for Bible studies, games, and puzzles. They have a small athletic center with treadmills and a limited quantity of weights. The facilities were very nice.

At Woodrose Apartments, everyone was wonderful and pleasant to start, but once you're living there, you really don't exist anymore. I backed out of it. People were sick and dying and just left in their apartment to be found dead six days later. I don't blame Diane, the manager, because she did the best she could. Corporate was not giving her enough money to have activities to keep them involved and make sure they're not sitting in their apartments. They weren't playing cards or doing jigsaw puzzles. Diane tried. She's been a wonderful friend, but because of corporate, the facility itself was a sham. It was terrible.
