I liked that Goodwin House Alexandria had lovely apartments. I had lunch there many times, and the food was excellent. The food service was also wonderful. They have good choices of what you want to eat. They always have cookies and fruits, if you want it. It was very efficient. The ladies who help serve are very kind and patient. Everybody there was very friendly and very kind. It looks to me like everybody living there was quite happy.
They have a gym there. A music person comes in, and he rehearses with the people who want to participate in the Christmas concert that they do every year. I always went to the concert, and I thought that was really extra nice. They have a puzzle area where you could just pick up puzzles, do them, and return them after.
