My sister is now living in The Devonshire. It is nice and clean, and it's located in a nice area. The room is bright and sunny, the people are smiling, they have nice and friendly staff, and it's a nice and comfortable place. She enjoys and eats their food. They have a full monthly schedule of activities posted on the board, they have activities in the lower lobby, they can do bingo, and they have an exercise room where she can exercise, and it's just nice. They have a store where she can go and purchase little items if she wanted to, they have a bus that runs on certain days and takes them to the doctor's office if they have an appointment and take them to do their banking that they need, and to other appointments. Everything is right there. It takes a lot of pressure off of the caregivers and the families. Plus, they go into the rooms and clean up themselves twice a month. So that helps out a lot.

The Devonshire was lovely. It's very, very nice and clean. The gentleman that gave the tour personally knew everybody that was there. He knew their names and everything. The only thing was he took pictures of the tour and he was supposed to text them to me, but he never sent me those. Other than that, the rooms were good. They got adequate space and it was something I would live in.

I did a tour of The Devonshire. It was very informative and very nice. The staff was very nice and kind to us. Everything looked new and updated. They had some nice programs for senior citizens to get out in the community. They had their own bus there and everything. So, it's nice.
The apartments were good sized, it was roomy. They had one and two bedrooms. They take the senior citizens out shopping to shopping centers and stuff like that. They play games like bingo and a few other things. They provide meals for independent living.

I went to The Devonshire. It was beautiful. The staff were good. They showed me a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom, and they were nice. I saw the salon, the sitting area, a little room to do exercises, the laundry room and the dining area. All of those were excellent. I saw the residents, and they were chair exercising then. I also saw how the management acted toward the residents. He knew most of them by their first name, so he seemed very friendly. The place was very clean, and it had a nice smell to it.

I have moved into The Devonshire. The experience has been great. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the staff and the residents. I enjoy the fact that I can have meals delivered to my door. I appreciate it. The staff would call me five days a week to check on me to see how I'm doing. I enjoy some games and the activities that they have. They have activities for the veterans, and I'm a veteran. The ceremony was really sweet. They gave us a flag, a certificate, and a picture frame. I thought that was nice that they observe Veterans Day. I appreciate it, and I enjoyed it. So I appreciate the benefits and the nice, friendly atmosphere that I'm in and I'm very thankful to be here. The food is good. It tastes good. The overall condition of the place is great. My apartment was very clean when I got here, and somebody would be coming to help clean my apartment twice a month. Other places are more expensive than here.

The Devonshire was great at answering all my questions. They told me all the amenities and activities my father could participate in.

I only visited the independent level at The Devonshire. I didn't visit the assisted living side because they had a couple of COVID cases. What I liked best were the rooms. The one-bedroom was very homey and inviting, and I liked the layout. They had an activity room, hair salon, barber shop, and a small store where they can buy small personal items. It appeared very clean. I had an excellent tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, very pleasant, and helpful, and answered all my questions. They made me feel very comfortable.

The tour at The Devonshire was great. It was clean. The people were friendly. It's a very nice facility. I would recommend it. It looks pretty nice.
We got a brochure of the costs, and they were able to show us three apartments that were available. The staff who gave the tour was very good, very professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. It was very clean with no odor.
All three of the rooms we saw were empty. They were different sizes. We also saw the model, which was a 1-bedroom. It was very nice.
They have a barbershop, a beauty salon, an exercise room, and a laundry room to wash your own clothes. They have housekeeping services for the clients a couple of times a week. They also provide two meals a day. They have bus transportation for doctor's visits and shopping.

My brother-in-law has moved to The Devonshire. The place was nice and clean, and the staff was very helpful. When they set up appointments, there were people there to greet us. It was overall a good experience. We talked to a lot of the residents as well that was kind of there in the lobby, and they all seemed to also share that they had had a good experience living there. That made us feel comfortable. The staff was attentive. They have the first person you see who answers all your questions. And they go over what the programs are like, and what facilities there that are available with the cost structure. It looks like she was really good and very transparent or open about everything that we can expect. So that put us at ease knowing that there weren't going to be some kind of hidden costs later on. And then we were handed over to the moving coordinator who handled all of this stuff, including hooking up the cable and making sure the place was ready. He made sure we're getting help moving stuff in. He has followed up two or three times both with my brother-in-law and me. The staff has been very, very helpful and very professional and made all of it go smoothly.
In-house, they have activities just about every day, bingo and other game stuff is going on. And then they have a signup sheet where you can sign up for outside activities, movies, museum trips, and various offsite things. They have a shuttle that takes you there and back and helps you along the way. There are some limits on how many people but it's first come, first serve. And that was a big reason why we wanted to move him in somewhere rather than living in an apartment by himself. There were social functions that you could go and do without having to go drive somewhere or go too far out of your way. You could participate in social activities and they had a lot of them there. The food is good. It was a nice touch that when we went there for the initial discussion, it happened to be during lunchtime. So they took us over and let us eat in the dining room so we could taste the food. So I had lunch there which was lasagna, and it was very good. He's had several meals there now and he likes it. You get a menu, and you can choose from whatever the options are that day. Or you can choose from a variety of things they have every day, like grilled cheese sandwiches and things that are kind of staples. So it's not cafeteria dining, it's more like dining room dining where they have waiters and waitresses. It was really good. The facilities and the amenities are comparable to more expensive ones.

The staff here at The Devonshire is caring. I've gone to a different place that was more concerned about appearances yet was not as friendly, but this community is friendly and concerned about you. I like the way they respect you and I like the activities that they have. They have bingo, karaoke, and a chaplain who comes out on Wednesday. They offer scrabbles, word puzzles, and trips to a Walmart or farmer's market. I just love their attitude and their spirit.
They have a beauty salon and a beautiful library upstairs. The meals are nice. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner and they have a beautiful chef. The servers are so nice, too. If you can't come down and get your meal, they have somebody to bring them up to you. Then they have an alternate menu if you want to eat something else. We have transportation to banks or medical appointments, which we had to sign up in advance. The driver is also excellent.

My parents are moving into The Devonshire. We loved them so much, that we just signed the contract. You can tell that they care about their residents very much. They know every single one of them by name, by heart. It just blew my mind. They treated everybody with respect, calling them by their last name, Mr. so and so. It was awesome. The amenities were the other big seller for us. They have an activity schedule that's ever-changing and very diverse, and it is very accommodating. The residents seemed very excited about the activities.
They provide two meals a day. We met a lot of staff. We only saw a few rooms though. They were being renovated, so we hadn't seen the finished product yet. It was really good even though it was in a renovation state. They have different activities as far as hobbies from puzzles to crafts to board games and card games. They had them throughout the week at different times. They had trips to museums, restaurants, and movies, and they had regular scheduling for doctors' appointments every week. They only required 72-hour notice for scheduling. They have a chapel, a salon, a library, and a grotto in the backyard for gardening. It was a really beautiful garden for at least walking and sitting.

The Devonshire is centrally located where you have shopping and pharmacies in the area. The place was clean and the staff seemed to be nice and accommodating. The amenities were nice and the rooms were spacious. They also have a salon where you could get your haircut. It would have been perfect for someone like me, but unfortunately, the way that it was set up (as far as the payment), I just can't afford it.

I toured The Devonshire. I don't need assisted living. If I can get like aides to come, I can stay in independent living. What I like the most was that the atmosphere was comfortable. The people, the staff were good, nice, friendly, and comfortable. Some of the residents spoke, so they were good. They didn't make me feel awkward and didn't make me feel out of place even though they were way older than me.
Their apartments are nice sizes, so, that was a plus. For independent you have to pay for your own cable. I saw a washer and dryer for laundry. I saw a dining facility and they got a little weight room. I told them it's not a gym but a closet. Electric was included, so everything was included in the rent or whatever you want to call it. It was in a nice business area, and I saw a lot of shopping centers around.
They had a nice little patio where you can go sit down and relax. They did not have a pool, though, so that was a negative.

The Devonshire was all right. I thought it was a little tight. It seemed not as spacious to me. They had a kitchen. They offered cable TV. The upkeep was OK. I didn't notice any flaws or anything. I know they had a porch and some balconies.

I was very impressed with The Devonshire. I liked the idea that they had someone there 24/7 instead of just during the week. The person who toured me around was excellent, very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. He provided lunch and that was good. My cousin said she enjoyed it. They had a recreation room, and a patio, and things for them to do.

The Devonshire Senior Living has very friendly people. The employees, as well as the people living there, were all very nice. And my mother-in-law, when she heard the food that they were having for dinner, she had a fit, because she had not had liver and onions in 10 years. So the food excited her. If there's anything that you wanted to do, they would get a group together and do that particular thing. They had a gym and they had a room where they did some arts and stuff. I think I had two meals a day there, which was fine. They had people coming and doing music and stuff like that for entertainment. The only thing is that they don't have sufficient parking.
Molly
I like The Devonshire. I would give them a 5 because of the amenities, as far as the different recreational programs and the services like housekeeping. The staff was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to speak to. The staff showed me a one-bedroom. My sister has a walker, and she has difficulty standing up on her own. The bedroom was geared towards the handicapped person. It was very accessible. They give classes and exercise in the morning. They have a full recreational calendar. They have a library. They go on bus trips and transportation if you want to go shopping. The area was nice, clean and neat in the morning. It looks like a very new community.

We're in The Devonshire, and the place is great. Before I even got there, the lady on the phone, her customer service skills were so good, I was done. I didn't have to come up there. When I went there, I was blown away. It felt just like at home, you weren't just another resident, you felt like part of things. I was waiting for my wife to get approved to go, and they helped us all along the way in, and I just can't get over that. The lady we just talked to answered any questions we had, and the layout was so great. It felt like home as soon as I walked through the door. We saw a one-bedroom apartment. Everything, like the bedroom, the kitchen was good, the bathroom, everything was great, and it had a nice, big closet. They were playing bingo, and they got other stuff there. They've got a whole activity board, they've got a calendar, they go on trips, they go shopping, there's just so much going on there. They made you feel like family. The food was excellent; good chef.

Everything about The Devonshire is outstanding, from viewing and going to the facility, I love it and all the perks I will get. I'm happy. They help assist those people who need help, the place is clean, and they have courteous people. It's like being at home.
They have laundry, a weight room, and meals are provided at different times. The dining room is lovely too. The room I am going to stay in is well lit and nice. Everything is very clean and outstanding.

The Devonshire seemed quite nice. I was surprised that the people that live there weren't involved in greeting potential newcomers. The rooms were very nice. They have laundry facilities, they have things they do, and different groups, but one thing I realized after the tour, was the fact that they said I could have a dog, which was acceptable. However, it dawned on me, I don't believe there's an enclosed area where the dog can be let loose. In other words, regardless of the weather, I have to go out and walk the dog two or three times a day. There are no provisions for a pet even though you're allowed to have them. It seems well laid out, clean, neat, and well taken care of. They had a gathering that I could have gone to, but I was not free to go. The staff seemed very nice. There's no issue there whatsoever.

I toured The Devonshire and I met up with Miss Alicia. She was wonderful and very accommodating. The only thing I didn't like about that is that the rooms are excessively small. I have a two-bedroom where I am and I don't expect to take everything with me if I was going to independent living, and I understand I would have to downsize, but that would be too much downsizing. A lot of it.
You get two meals a day and if you want extra, you have to pay six dollars and seventy-five cents or something like that for the extra meal added. They do not have indoor laundry facilities. I mean, you don't have it in your apartment. They have several laundry rooms on the floor that you could go and do your own laundry.
A 1-bedroom was going for $2300, and it was very small. They had happy hour, painting, and people painting. I went to the dining facility, and I liked the dining area. I went around 11 o'clock. There were a few people there having late breakfast, but it wasn't like there was alot going on during my tour.
The facility is beautiful, very clean, and is awesome.

The Devonshire was very nice and they were remodeling everything including the rooms and the restaurant. My friends who live in their assisted and independent living facilities both love it there and they said the food is good. They have a lot of games, they transport them to doctors' appointments, they have two meals a day, they clean your room once a week, they have a gym, programs, swimming once a week, a library, and a card room.

The staff at The Devonshire was very professional and very friendly. The appearance was very nice, clean, and elegant. We met some of the residents who were very sweet, friendly, and anxious to meet my mother. They had a nice dining room, a salon, on-site physical therapy, interim healthcare that coordinates temporary skilled nursing and home healthcare, a TV room, calendar of events and activities, and a beautiful courtyard. The grounds looked really nice. The apartment Mom will be in is a two-bedroom, two-bath with a kitchen that's been remodelled and updated. It has the wood-look floors and granite-look counters. It's freshly painted and has a walkout patio to the courtyard.

The Devonshire was very nice and there weren't any shortcomings. The person who gave us the tour was very helpful and had all the answers to our questions. The dining area looked good and reminded us of a nice sit-down restaurant. We saw the common areas and the gathering spaces, which looked very comfortable and bright.

I was very impressed with The Devonshire. I was greeted almost the minute I walked in the door by very friendly people. One of them happened to be their chef who was at the front desk and was a very nice gentleman. The lady receptionist was the sweetest she could be. They made me feel welcome. The whole appearance of the building felt clean and neat, friendly, and everything was in place. They had arts and crafts. The lady gave me the activity calendar, and they have so much to do every day of the month. They have kept in touch with me through emails.

I visited The Devonshire. The apartments were roomy, nice, and convenient. The staff was very nice. They had a nice dining room, and the residents were very friendly. They had activities, but not as many as the others. They had a hair salon, washers and dryers on each floor, and excellent security.
