About This Community

Escalante at Coventry is proud to offer Independent Living, Assisted Living & Memory Support, allowing our residents to age in place with us as their needs change. We are divided into 3 unique and distinct neighborhoods customized to meet the needs of the residents it serves.

ALL neighborhoods offer included in the monthly fees: 3 meals each day, weekly housekeeping and linen services, transportation Monday-Friday, all utilities (including cable, wi-fi and land line telephone), as needed support by the push of a button (located on your loved one's emergency pendant), on site maintenance Monday-Saturday, and a variety of activities each day!

Independent/Assisted Living East

Our East Building offers Independent Living and entry level Assisted Living care. We are a hybrid in that we offer apartment style living (full kitchens, private balconies and the option of a stacked washer and dryer unit in your actual apartment), with the added benefit of entry level assisted living support if and when your loved one may begin to need assisted living services.

This provides dignity to those who are not ready to move to a full service assisted living, and like-minded peers with similar social interests and physical capabilities.

Care providers are on staff 24/7 to assist with any emergency needs at the simple push of their pendant, or in utilizing the pull chords installed in their apartment

Assisted Living West

Our West building offers full service assisted living, catering to individuals that have increased personal care support needs.

This building is smaller in nature, and its apartments are paired down to make it more functional for someone who has a physical limitation, they are also ADA compliant to allow full functionality for any individual regardless of what their physical ability is.

We have a full staff of CNA/Care providers 24/7 in order to assist your loved one with the simple push of their pendant.

This building has its own director of activities, dining room, fitness center, meeting room craft room and TV room to enjoy all of the fun activities we offer.

Memory Support

If your loved one is early in their journey with Alzheimer’s/dementia the space and freedom that our MS neighborhood’s structure provides, gives them the opportunity to maintain their physical, cognitive and social capabilities for as long as possible.

Our pricing is inclusive, meaning your loved one’s basic needs are included in the monthly cost rather than added on as an additional fee.

Our large, secured courtyard allows your loved one the freedom to go outside as they please, while still ensuring that they are safe.

Since the newest takeover of this facility (there have been 3 corporate owners in 6 years, and 5 executive directors) the care has declined to a state of neglect. They are chronically understaffed, the food service is not compliant with state guidelines, the so called "elevate dining" program is so bad they can't even produce menus in advance. On Christmas the dining room was closed and residents received meals in styrofoam boxes left in their room. Admnistrators are non-responsive, make empty promises. THere is no dignity or respect here. There are a handful of long time direct care staff who are fabulous - but that's the only positive. Rooms aren't updated with fresh paint or carpet, even after 5 years.

We've visited Escalante at Coventry but they didn't seem very interested in talking to us rather than petting a dog that came in. They didn't show us the apartment step by step, the staff just told us to go in and we could look around ourselves. They had very small communal areas, tight quarters, and rundown living spaces for a very high price. She didn't show us if they have any activities. I was very disappointed with what they had to show us. So the staff we saw wasn't keen on having my mother-in-law come there, and she had plenty of money to go live there. I saw the staff talking to the other residents and they seemed friendly, but they didn't give us the same friendliness that they gave the others.

My mother will be moving here on September 15th. The grounds are beautiful and appeared to me to be more like an apartment-style living, which is something my mom is still looking forward to. She's still independent. So it needs to feel like she does have her own place there. It just felt small and personalized and like a really good community. Ashley was great, she was really helpful. She checked in multiple times. She showed us several different times, the same place so that my mom could get the feel for it. She did a really good job. The dining area is nice and open and it's family-style seating, which everything we've seen was that way, but it felt like it was a good integral part of the place and a great place for my mom to just check in with other people. They were doing a luau the day that we went last time and it looked like they were all dressed up and ready to go. So they looked like they were having a good time at the parties.

My tour here was all good. The place was really nice. I really liked it, and I really liked the director. Everybody was really good there. The director was awesome, and I really liked her. Everybody was so helpful there. The rooms were really nice, and I really liked them. They had a little table in them, and they were very, very nice. They were like little apartments.

My mother was here before, and my aunt was in there. The rooms are pretty nice and about 500sq.ft. My mom is in a 1-bedroom apartment, and the dining room is nice. Mom said they have activities, and the place is safe and secured.
