I moved my mother in a few weeks ago, and I have been very pleased with hearing her cheery voice and nice words about the staff, the food, and her lovely apartment. I am actually giving a testimony this weekend about how smoothly everything went as far as move in and small fixes that always need to happen upon move in. Service has been prompt, and activities have really helped my mother plug in.

This is a grand place for seniors. Absolutely no complaints about anything. The Director and the rest of the staff treat me with a lot of respect and love to make me laugh and they treat my babies (dogs) really well. I feel like family here and it was the best choice to move to New Forest.

It was an older independent living. They've been there for quite a while, but it doesn't take away from the fact that it's comfy. The rooms are not too big, but they will do for anyone that's single. They were very clean and as a matter of fact, if somebody leaves, they repaint the walls and take care of anything that's out of whack. The person who gave the tour was fantastic and was very nice. He knew all about the building. When we were going by, he knew a lot of the residents and called them by their first names. I was impressed by that. I was also impressed by some of the things that they offer on their menu. There's a great variety. Then they have card games, crafts, an outside pool, and they have a bus to take the seniors out to grocery shopping or to doctor's appointments (which I think is great).

The time I have lived in this community has been satisfactory. The dining accommodations servers without exceptions are professional and attentive to tenants. There is a tenant organization and several activities are provided. Management responds to tenant questions and requests promptly. My stay has been quite satisfactory. I would recommend to others!

NewForest is a true community of caring people! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! They’ve routinely gone above and beyond for my aunt, who is a resident there

I toured with my daughter looking to move into a Senior place. I liked the layout because the apt was away from main building. Some days I like to keep to myself so this was good for me. My daughter liked that they provide transportation and food. Looks like a great fit for me as everyone seemed happy to be there. I hope to get my act together soon so I can enjoy easy living at Newforest.

We toured New Forest . I was very impressed, I really like the customer service lady over there, Jane was super nice, and super helpful. The facade was sufficient, the rooms were satisfactory. I would recommend it because of the care that the customer care lady went through to make sure all of our questions were answered, she came in on her weekend day off to help us, so I really liked her. The dining area was sufficient.

Newforest was my first choice. It's very nice, the amenities were great, the apartments were nice, the views were nice, and the location was great. The staff answered all my questions, everything was good, and he called me several times.

Mom moved in shortly after my dad died and though it took her a couple of months to really get going, once she did we couldn't keep up with her. Between cards, bingo, "horse racing", the dances, etc. etc. etc. the tables turned and we were the ones calling to ask "Where were you? You haven't called in a week!" Several years later she had to move to the Assisted Living facility and honestly, we could NOT have asked for a more caring staff! Mom passed away last June but her last years were happy and she made so many friends! There were absolutely no regrets or second thoughts about her living at New Forest. She was truly cherished there and who could ask for more than that?

My mother has been at New Forest for 4 years. We narrowed our choices based on cost, cleanliness and safety. It was Mom's choice of New Forest. They have been exceptional in relating to and understanding mom's personality. The amenities are wonderful if one takes full advantage of them. The administrative staff have been exceptional on 3 occasions where extra care was needed spontaneously. Over all the staff has been good in communicating with us (her children/care takers).

Dad has been at here since April. We chose this place for its price and the feedback that we read. The staff are very friendly and they appear to love their jobs. They all seem to truly care about the people that are in the community. He is in a 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment with a kitchenette. They do have a lot of activities there, and they have a pool. They also play games every night. They have two church services on Sunday. They have van trips every day to Walmart, restaurants, or special trips. They also have dances or some music once a month. Their food is good.
