Excellent...my wife and were delighted to visit Ventana. Katie is amazing and did an outstanding job in introducing us to the facility. The accommodations truly first class, as was the food and everyone of the Members we came in contact with. We came away with the thoughts that although perfect, we are not quite ready for this style of living. We will constantly look in to see future availability. Two to three years out is our timing. We look forward to a couple of follow-up questions to be answered. Again big kudos to Katie and Jennifer.

My mom is at the Ventana in independent living. The facilities are beautiful, the leadership/staff couldn't be more hospitable, and the food is incredible. All the residents/members are incredibly nice as well. The schedule of activities is very inclusive. It is centrally located in Dallas. We are glad we helped my mom make this choice for a comprehensive retirement community.

Ventana is a very nice building complex in a super area of north Dallas. All activities and medical care are contained within the complex. The gym and salt-water pool with whirlpool are excellent. All three meals served each week have an excellent menu with numerous selections including an array of beverages. There are three different dining venues, plus a separate room for private dinners. There is a large selection of apartment floor plans from 1 to 3 bedrooms. Half the rooms face north and half south. Some have a balcony. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very service oriented. The other residents are also friendly and create a great neighborly-feel. Many activities are available for an array of interests. Some are social interaction; some are educational and some are craft oriented. A small theater is available and several meeting rooms. A top-floor Sky Lounge is neat to visit and see the city. Transportation is provided to nearby medical facilities/offices, grocery stores, as well as the nearby airport (Love Field).

The rooms are spacious with well organized closets. All of the appliances are in excellent condition. The views are great. Dining is great. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Marilyn was the person who toured the facility and I received excellent guidance from her.

Ventana is just a wonderful facility in all aspects------ ----Friendly and helpful staff ----Beautiful and well designed and new independent living facilities ----Many fabulous and fun activities for residents ----Every amenity that a person might want ---------------beautiful and large workout area with large swimming pool- --------------- several restaurants for every type of dining with 5 star food in each one ---------------many areas where residents can get together for games or just relaxing -----Ventana has everything anyone might ever want or need with all of it is the highest quality

Ventana by Buckner was our first choice, but it's a little bit noisy. It was a "no" right away for my parents-in-law from the first visit. It was a wonderful facility, but it's kind of very noisy. It's basically on the highway, so that was absolutely unacceptable. If I'm going to rate facilities and so on, it will be five out of five everything except it's kind of noisy. There's no fresh air, and it's extremely noisy to my taste, too. The staff during the tour was fantastic. They're all great. Everyone was absolutely very good. Everything about it was just brilliant. The building was beautiful. Everything was so well maintained. It's a relatively new building, extremely clean, very spacious, and very modern. Everything was really beautiful. It's like a five-star hotel. They had different activities, but we were interested in their rooms mostly. The food and gym club were great. My mother-in-law loves to swim, and there's a swimming pool. The food was very good.
