My dad is a resident. I like the location; it's close to me. I like that the apartment is set up for older people; it has a walk-in bathroom, handrails, and an easily accessible kitchen area. It comes with meals, and it covers all the utilities. It's a flat rate, and it fits pretty much with what my dad needed.
The staff works really hard. They're good folks, and they do a great job of filling in the gaps, but they're a little bit overworked. The maintenance folks are pretty good about getting stuff fixed, and the administration is really good about making sure things are right. However, my dad has a little bit of frustration every once in a while because it seems like they're very busy, and it's hard to get a hold of them.
They have a dining area, and the menu is pretty good. My dad is a picky eater, and sometimes it is not so good, but the staff does a great job of checking to make sure he is OK and that he gets food he can eat. It's a great facility, but you can tell that they struggle a little bit to stay in the black. They have some challenging times, and they probably just need a little bit of focus. Also activities are limited by COVID right now.

We visited for my father-in-law, but he died last January. I liked that the property was very pretty and close to a lot of stores, shops, and our home, too. They had people come in to bring them shopping, and the whole staff was very accommodating. The whole place was very clean.

I would not live here. That was not up to my standards. The staff helped out all right. The rooms that I saw were for independent living. It depends on how much money you want to spend and what style of living you want. It is fairly basic. It could work for others.
