Holiday The Bentley had pretty much all the same amenities, except they have an all-day menu. They ring the bell and have a menu that they could just order from whenever. I thought that was pretty cool. Their rooms were more spacious, too, and they had bigger rooms available. The building looked well-maintained. They have a hair salon available for haircuts, physical therapy, and chess boards randomly placed out for people to interact and sit down.

The tour experience at the Holiday The Bentley was honestly amazing. They have the right-sized little apartment for any senior. The price was great. They have a lot of different activities to keep the seniors busy and allow them to interact with other people. One of the things that I like is that they also have a little store in there where the seniors run themselves, where people that may not be able to get out and get to the store can come in and buy things like their hygiene items. We worked with Will, and he was great. He communicated with us and scheduled a time to meet with us. He walked us through the whole community. My communication with him was amazing. The facility was very clean. They have a large dining area. As soon as you come in, it's restaurant-style dining.

My grandfather moved into Holiday The Bentley. I love the place, and my grandfather loved the place. The facility is clean and well-kept. My grandfather said he has one little issue. He said no one has been in his room to clean it up, so I've had to do that. But other than that, so far, so good. He loves his room. We made it feel like home. We got pictures hanging up and stuff. He got a bed and his recliner chair. The food is good some days. They have movie nights, bingo, and bowling. My grandfather has a patio in his room. They have a little outdoor in the back where they can sit.

I toured Holiday The Bentley. It was my number one choice if my brother decides to go to an all-inclusive place. It is very clean. The size of the apartments were acceptable, and I'm just looking for a one-bedroom. The price was the most reasonable of the ones I visited. It is also very close to me as I live in Addison, so that was a plus. The person who gave me the tour was extremely nice, extremely helpful, and answered all my questions. The activities and amenities were pretty much across the line very similar in all the places I visited. The dining area was very nice. I was there at a point where I could see the residents were coming down slowly, because it must have been close to lunchtime, and they all seemed happy, and that was also a plus, too. The staff were wonderful. The grounds and the apartments were well kept. It's not a very new building, but I looked more for the cleanliness, and that was a plus.

We went to The Bentley. It's really friendly and very homey, and everything is just spotless. It had everything I needed, the price was good, all the amenities were wonderful. My only problem was the living room area wasn't quite big enough for us, but other than that, the place was absolutely wonderful. Parking was good. The rooms were wonderful, really nice, with a large master bedroom, and it was big enough for a king size bed with no problems, plenty of light, and it had a lot of green areas out the front windows of the unit I was looking at. It was a nice, well-kept green space with some really nice, mature trees in it. I can't say enough about it. It is a really very nice place. I was looking at a cottage in the back, and she showed me a one-bedroom unit inside the main building, which was very nice. It was exceptionally good with the amount of light all of the units got because none of them were dark at all. They were bright and cheery and actually the one inside was a furnished one that I had seen, and it was nice and roomy. For one person, it was perfect, but I needed a bigger room. I was not able to eat because I didn't stay for lunch, but she did show me the menu, and the menu was exceptional. My husband, the one thing he does like to do is eat, and they had wonderful entrees on the menu, a good variety, so he would have liked that a lot. They have an exercise room. It has a nice big screen TV at the one end, so you can get on your exercise equipment and sit there and watch TV. They had a library, which was very, very nice. They had an area for you to do jigsaw puzzles, and to play games, and play cards. They had trails around the facility on the green area where you could walk in the morning and be nice and safe, because it was surrounded by the buildings. It's sort of like an oasis in the middle of it, so there's plenty of places to sit down, and they had a grill out in the back so you could grill. They had a large private dining room, like if you wanted to have your girlfriends over, or your family over for a meal, you could sit in the private dining room. And if you called ahead, you could order lunches for everybody, so you know you could just sit back there and have lunch served to your whole family, which was really nice. They had a TV theater room, they had a chapel, they had all kinds of activities that they put together for exercise classes. Some of them were videos, but then they had a person there that would help. They had a beauty parlor, they had a foot doctor that came in twice a month, then they had home healthcare there on site, so that if you needed any extra help, like with bathing or getting dressed or whatever, they had those people available too. I could get all the extra care I needed, plus the fact that they also come in once a week and clean your place for you too. It had everything you could think of that a person would need as we get older. We're not sure what we're going to need, but they had it available, so I wasn't going to have to leave the place to get anything done, which was nice. We had trouble with my husband, he wasn't able to drive, his hair got pretty long, and I ended up having to cut it just so he got a haircut. But they do men's haircuts there, too, so they keep you looking spiffy, and they will feed you well. You couldn't ask for more. The staff was excellent. Jennifer was very, very nice, explained everything to me, gave me a packet so that I could go over it. She's going to touch base with me, I guess, today or tomorrow, and see how I felt about it. I haven't talked to her yet, but she's probably as excited as I was about the place. She's very enthusiastic and very, very helpful, even with things that didn't pertain to the Bentley, so she's great.

Much of the staff is rude to residents, especially those with disabilities.

We toured The Bentley. It was a great tour. We found that the staff was very knowledgeable and very helpful. The rooms were good. We felt that my mom would be quite comfortable in either the studio or the one-bedroom. The meals were included. They offer three meals a day. They had entertainment. On the day that we have visited, there was a gentleman in there singing; it was nice. They had a coffee station and a hairdressing place. They offered additional health care services within the facility. The health care agency was actually located in the facility, which would be a great help (as well as physical therapy and nursing). There was a library, a hair salon, and an elevator for those who needed to access the upper areas. It was two floors. We were mainly interested in the first floor. The room that we looked at for my mom had access through the building. Then it had its own personal access, which we felt was a great asset. The building was very clean and very well kept.

I went to The Bentley. I had lunch with them and it was delicious. I ate all of it. It includes the meals, one day a week maid service, you have all the amenities. The staff was very friendly and even some of the residents that I talked to told me that I would love it there. So that made me know that it was a nice place to live. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. The facility was clean. She took me to a two-bedroom, two bath. They have a patio outside the apartment.

I've been living at The Bentley for a year now. It's perfect for retirees. They have a good management system, and the location is convenient. I'm on the first floor, and I have a little patio outside with grass. It is a very convenient place if you have pets. They have the activities published every week, so you just sign up or go to the ones you want to. They've cut down some of it due to COVID-19, and they have to limit the amount of people that can do it at one time. They're trying to get it started again. There's a dentist that comes in for us, as well as a doctor, a hairdresser, and just about anything we need. We have three meals a day and the restaurant's starting to be used.

We visited The Bentley and had some meals there. The chef is very eager to please the guests and accommodate their individual likes. The housekeeping is good, the place is very clean and doesn't smell like a senior community which is huge. Overall, it's a nice community.

The Bentley had more of an apartment-type atmosphere, almost like an apartment complex. The facilities were fairly normal for a lot of communities I visited, so it was pretty standard. It's in a nice location and there was adequate enough parking for visitors. The place was clean and the grounds were well kept with no litter.

My aunt was a past resident of the Bentley. I think the staff was great; we didn't have any issues whatsoever, they're engaging, and welcoming to the visitors. The place was great, it's a beautiful facility, but she needed more support. She loved the place.

Bentley seemed more of a nursing home than an independent living type of community. We toured some of the rooms, and it wasn’t what we expected because they didn’t feel like apartments. They had renovated part of the building for their Alzheimer’s care, but that wasn’t where my mom would need to be. The area where she would be had an odor to it and was not very pleasant. The staff member was nice enough and walked us around, but she was new so she didn’t know a whole lot about the accommodations my mom would need as an independent, retired person; she gave us a card to talk to somebody. We had some good cookies that they had baked. The dining room looked pleasant enough, but we didn’t stay there to eat. I think they need to be clearer that they are not quite independent living or a retirement community. My impression was they were more of a nursing home than independent living.

The Bentley was very clean and well-kept. The residents looked happy. This was the place that we really liked. They had great service. The employees were more than willing to help. It felt like home. The services were excellent. I think my mom would be very happy to live there because the rooms were wrapped to the courtyard, and the courtyard was kept-up really nice. Like I said, the employees were very helpful, kind, and willing to cater to the residents’ needs and wants.

We haven't moved into The Bentley yet. I only visited it once, and we wouldn’t have gotten our unit if we weren’t happy with what we saw. It was wonderful; everybody was very friendly. They were very helpful and very glad to have you. We got a cottage with a fireplace. It’s a cottage in the back and there are only 10 of them, and they never come available. One type was available the day we went to see it. The dining area is big and always full. It is the last place I wanted to live. We were actually on our way to sign a contract somewhere else, but we just absolutely fell in love with this place. This is the place for us to be.

The Bentley was very nice. We liked the outside apartments better on the first floor that were separate from the building because they seemed to have more privacy and be bigger. The staff was very accommodating. We ate lunch, and the food was very good. They had a workout room, bridge, and games like that.

The apartments at The Bentley look good. They are very nice. You bring your own furnishings into the apartment. The staff who gave us the tour was very helpful. The only thing I did not like about this facility is you have to eat your meals at specific times of the day like breakfast is at 8:30, lunch is 12:30, and dinner is 5:30, and then nothing after that. I know they play bingo, and they have physical therapy.

The Bentley was just as nice and good as the other place I visited. The only reason I didn’t select this place is because of the location. It was farther away, and the surrounding areas were not as nice as far as landscaping goes. Other than that, they were both great places, and the prices were basically the same. It’s just that the other place is really close to where I live, so that is where I would like to put my mom, but everything looked the same to me. The staff was very nice, friendly and actually followed up with me a lot. The activities were the same kind, but I think the only thing different is that they do a shopping shuttle a couple of days a week to Walmart or somewhere like that. I liked their courtyard and outside sitting area.

My wife selected The Bentley, and it's a good one. Many of the people are here because of health reasons rather than age reasons. We have people in their 40s and 50s. The food is good, and it satisfies your needs. My wife and I have been in here for two months now, and we have a two-room apartment, which is very nice. They have a lot of activities. If you want to be involved in anything, they have it. We considered it because of cost. We were able to come in here and save $1000 a month. We're very happy with what we have.

I just think The Bentley is a really good facility. It has a warm environment. The have gourmet chef there, and they have transportation. They also have activities almost every day. It’s a really good facility because there are a lot of people who live there who can drive, and my daughter can't, so sometimes they take her to church with them. The staff are excellent, very accommodating, and very caring. They are really nice. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

The Bentley was good. They're very friendly, very nice, and very active. But the location is just too far from my family than I wanted to be. I think it might have been a little more expensive.

The Bentley was a newer facility. It was also wider and brighter. It was quite a nice place. Their halls were really wide, which I find nice. The dining room was nice, the food was good and the rooms were bright and cheerful. They have the same activities as with other facilities, e.g., they have a group of people that come in and sing, they have bingo, art classes, etc.

The Bentley was a nice place, the food was good, and the people were friendly. They do allow pets and they have a good facility that had a backdoor on the ground floor where I could let my pet out. That was actually one of the reasons why I liked that place.
