Avoid this place. My relative was displaced from an apartment due to pipes bursting (again) and it took them 3 months to repair it. They would not assist with moving anything. They even CHARGED the residents 3 months rent while they were not even living there because of their maintenance failure. Can you imagine? They mess up and displace seniors for three months and still charge them? Horrible and unethical.

It is a very convenient place to live. I feel very safe since the front doors to every apartment is inside the building and the mailboxes are also in the inside so, I feel safe. We have a sing-a-long every Saturday night. It is my favorite activity. It is a beautiful building and everyone is so friendly. The staff is very helpful and concerned about each person. They go out of their way to help us.

Great staff, they are extremely caring and will help with anything you need. We are like one big family here. I enjoy playing bingo, going to bible study, playing cards and so much more. This place feels like home.

being worked on but as of now is nothing like the pictures you see on the internet.
No bus so no actives outside of building.
Staff is very poorly managed and will give you any answer to get you out of office.
Have been told that if you become friendly with one of the staff member yo can do what every you want.
People running business out of home.
Extra people living in apartment even given extra parking spots fourth person .
Management busy with remodels so do not have time for small problems.

I put an application in 6-1-2021. 40 days later I called back Jamie the asst mgr told me to put 30 day notice in at present place I am living my app should be approved in a couple of days and she was sure it would be approved. So I did. She called me back a week later and said it wasnt approved after 52 days of having information on income she said I made to much money. My brother has cancer and now we have no place to live. Extremely unprofessional! 52 days later

I had recommended two people to live at Kingwood Senior Village back when it was nice, new, and thriving. Everybody was friendly. However, when I went to check it out for myself, it seemed really rundown and unkept. I probably wouldn't consider staying there unless it is the only place I could afford to go to. Kingwood Senior Village did not impress me at all. Just because you get old, you don't have to stay in an old, dingy place. They had a library, a pool, and an exercise room. However, they don't serve food; you have your small apartment and you take care of yourself. I only met one staff person, and she was very nice but looked overworked. I felt sorry for her because she had tons of stuff to do. It looked like she's way behind on them because there was not enough help there.

You will find some amazing people here and just like anywhere else, some not so amazing.
They don't care whether residents stay or not as they have a waiting list. It seems like it would be cheaper to keep residents happy and wanting to stay.
I avoid the front office as much as possible, they are not good PR for the company.
Kinda sad to see a once wonderful place be taken down by don't care attitudes.

Kingwood Village is a very big complex. We have our own apartment, and we cook our own meals. I don’t have problems with the staff. My husband got a fever, and they had the ambulance in 5 minutes. They are very good. They’ve got outdoor and indoor swimming pool, exercises in the morning, and a theater. We have a 1 bedroom, and everything is very good, clean, and well-maintained. We just clean it ourselves or pay $50 for someone to clean, and she really does a good job. I would highly recommend it.

I'm living at Kingwood Senior Village. I've been here for six years. I have a 1-bedroom apartment. I have a regular kitchen so I have to cook for myself. I even have a patio, that's really nice because I have a couple of cats and they go out in the patio. It's 4-stories but they have elevators. They have a coffee area here where you can go down, sit and visit and have coffee together. When I moved in six years ago, my rent was $485 and that includes a washer and dryer, a microwave and they pay everything but your electric. They have a bus service that takes you to Wal-Mart, grocery stores, to the doctor's and banks. The people that run it are very, very nice. The staff is very nice and helpful. They provide so much for us, they even provide high speed internet at no charge. They have bingo once a week and they have get togethers where they have suppers and a movie.
