It's been a week since I moved into Mariposa Apartment Homes, so I really haven't gotten involved in anything, and I haven't had any problems. I chose it because I want to be close to my children. The staff is very nice, and they have a calendar of different activities. There is no food here. Everybody is independent. I have a cottage; it's very adequate and very nice in size, and I clean my own cottege. There is a lady that comes and offers me maid service, but I haven't had any need for a maid service.

Mariposa is for active seniors, it is near the community where my mother has been living, so she can maintain contact with friends. It is a short distance from some medical centers, and less than a mile from her church. It is near enough for people to visit. She has a very nice apartment with two bedrooms and two baths. The place is extremely spacious, they’ve got a wonderful community room, card room, library, crafts room and exercise rooms.
