My daughter and I toured the independent living side of Royal Estates of El Paso. It was roomy and large enough, and that was one of the big things about it. It was easy to access via driving too. The people were very friendly and helpful there. The lady that takes care of new people coming in was very helpful, and I think she did a great job touring us.
They have bingo and different game nights. Bobbie, the person who assisted us, gave a very thorough tour. After we were done with it, we came home and my daughter and I talked and had a few questions, which we texted to Bobbie and she got back to us promptly with all the answers.
We had lunch there and it was very good. It was like dining in a restaurant. The meal was very good, the waitress took care of us, and she was very knowledgeable. I was impressed with the whole facility and I can't say enough about the tour we had there.
One of the things I noticed about this senior facility is that within walking distance of it, we found a senior citizens center, a swimming pool, a baseball diamond, and a park. I thought that was a real plus for the area.

Royal Estates of El Paso was a nice place. It's large facility, the rooms were were nice, and they had a lot of activities for the residents. They had a library, they had a game room, they had a very active activities calendar, and they go and take their residents to different events in the city. I feel like the staff went out of their way to take us on a tour. They were friendly, kind, and asked about my mother's interests. There were some issues with the facility itself. The patio area where the garden was was really dirty and unkempt. There was a carpet that was in the hallway that was wet; the carpet was in bad shape. They had a leaky pipe or something. Two meals a day are included.

I've been to the Royal Estates of El Paso. I have friends there. Everybody was very nice, they've recently remodelled the building, it looks very pretty, but nobody is allowed to see anything 'cause we're not allowed past the front door. And like right now, I'm gonna leave a little something for my friend, and I'm just gonna have to leave it at the front desk, and they will take it to her room. The only bad thing I could say is they really hate the food, the food is poor, and I'm aware that the food is taken to the doors of each one of the tenants. It's a lovely facility and the people are really nice, my friend is as happy as a person can be because she has her freedom. They have a lot of cultural events, but I don't know what's happening right now. I think they have ministers coming in, they are holding religious services, they have games, bingo, my friend plays the piano, and she entertains people there.

I chose Royal Estates of El Paso for my mom. The rooms were very nice. We're very happy with it, and it's the perfect size. The staff is very good and have gone above and beyond. I like the food, although my mom doesn't. They have a professional staff. They offer wine and cheese, spiritual services, and games and activities. They take the residents shopping at the stores. There's a lot of malls and retail where the place is located, so they take them there which is really nice. They are very hands-on with what the residents need and are even good with my mom. They do crocheting, coloring, and many variety of activities. The price is very good given the quality of the staff, the food, and the activities. It's affordable and actually lower than most places in El Paso. It's a very good community.

I liked Royal Estates of El Paso. I thought it was pleasant, clean, and nice. The people running it seemed to be nice, and I think it would be a comfortable place for my mom. I was satisfied with the apartment that I saw. It seemed fine.

Royal Estates of El Paso was located in a very vibrant part of the town. There were businesses nearby, fast food, groceries, a movie theater, convenience stores, a mall, and all of them were within walking distance. Everything in that place seemed extremely clean. All the rooms were very clean with nice carpeting, good appliances, very large walk-in closets, and nice and large bathrooms. We tried the food and it was good.

Royal Estates of El Paso was really great. The exterior was okay and the grounds were good. The people were friendly. The person that assisted me was quite good and very helpful. The activities were fine from what I have observed. The dining area and the food were very good. They had a library, television room, and everything you could ask for as far as I am concerned. The facility was well done.

Royal Estates of El Paso did not work out for my mother-in-law. It was too independent for her. This is the one we like a lot because it was very nice and had a lot of good benefits, wonderful food and activities, except that they cater to a more independent crowd. It was big and open, the furnishings were nice, and they had very nice apartments. The activities seemed to be OK. We did not witness many of them, but they had crafts, game night, and other activities that engaged the people. They also have transportation to the outdoor and other places. There were options for the menu, so it was not just one thing.
