I went to Monticello West. They were very friendly and very impressive. The apartments were clean and reasonably priced. It was all-inclusive and provided a number of features other communities did not provide. They had some Valentine treats when we went there, and it was an open house. They have three meals, seven days a week. The laundry is done once a week by the same person each week. The cleaning of the apartment is done once a week by the same person each week. They are able to handle a good bit of the transportation, if it is scheduled in advance and a reasonable number of people are interested in it (other than just individual doctors' appointments). I just found them to be more flexible with options or interests.

My stepfather moved into Monticello West last November. Since that time he has grown to love the staff, residents, and community at MW. He particularly loves the trivia nights with Kathy and interacting with the other staff and residents. My stepfather talks highly of all of the staff, from the aides, housekeepers, front desk people, to the management. He has grown very fond of everyone at MW and has made it very clear he wants to remain in the community and that he feels very loved and at home. It is so apparent each time I visit, how loved and acknowledged my stepfather feels and how special this community makes him feel. I have been overwhelmed by the kindness and concern that every staff member takes when I have a question or when I need a little extra help with my step father. The director, Michael, is so gracious whenever I have a request and is so approachable each time I have contacted him. This is a wonderful place for your family members if you are looking to move them into a place which offers assistance on many different levels. I am so thankful and appreciative to everyone at Monticello West who has made this a wonderful experience for my stepfather and my family!! Thank you so very much!!

I toured Monticello West. It's a very nice community. It's a very nice building. The staff is wonderful. The food that I sampled was very good. The apartments are quite small. There are no washers and dryers in the apartments. They showed me all of the levels of care. I did not have the meals, but they had some pastries that I sampled; they were good.

Peace of Mind. I am one of three children and I live local to my aging father. Although my dad has many different ailments, he is still independent and that means a lot to him. He is not independent enough however, to live alone. After being stressed for years with my dad fighting me to live alone, I was able to introduce him to Monticello West. He fell in love and I felt peace of mind for once. The staff is wonderful towards my father, they help him when he needs it, they keep him company when he wants to talk, they are responsive to me as a concerned daughter with an aging parent, they give him great amenities, food, and opportunities for activities. I can now travel without fearing the worse, because he has medical support if ever needed. The Director, Michael B. is amazing, caring, and deals with you like an individual and not a number. Monticello West has given my family and my dad a new level of living that he could not get with home health care. I more than recommend Monticello West to you if you are in my shoes. You can trust them with your loved one.

Monticello West was perfect, everything was just immaculate, it's totally been redone, and everything about it is beautiful. I didn't find anything wrong with it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's been redone, so it all looked brand new. It's also very clean. It's in Dallas, so there are hospitals all over the place. It has a library, a gym, and a salon, too. The rooms have all been redone, too, so the floorings are brand new, and they're very nice.
