We chose The Hearth at Franklin because the facilities are nice, but the food is not good. It's like store-bought food, like something frozen or heated up. I did talk to them about it, but that's just how their food is; it's not chef-prepared. However, the place itself is very nice, from the buildings to the rooms they offer, and they are competitively priced.

We found the Hearth for my parents. I think it's going really well. The move-in went well last February. The staff is helpful and always friendly. The food has been good, and they've enjoyed that. They've begun to meet a few people there. It's a little bit more expensive than some of the others, but they chose it because it's closer to me. The location was more important to them, and I'm able to visit them more often. The room is a great two-bedroom with a living area and a nice kitchenette. They seem to have enough space and feel comfortable.

I plan to move to The Hearth at Franklin. I chose it because I like the feel of it, and it is a new building. I also like that there's a nurse there 24/7, and I can do independent, assisted, and hospice all in the same apartment without having to move to a different apartment.
