We offer 28 private suites with private bathrooms. Most of our residents bring their favorite furniture from home. Each apartment has individual heating and air conditioning, as well as windows and large closets.

The overall tour I had at Southern Heritage Assisted Living was very good. I was impressed with the facility. Everything was clean and the people were friendly. We just had two reservations about the place. One was they had a very small room. It's a single room, almost like an efficiency apartment or studio apartment. The other drawback was for my brother, you can't smoke on the premises at all. You've got to leave the premises. You can't even just go outside on the porch. You've got to physically leave the premises and that was the deal breaker for him.
The manager was very professional and very nice. He answered all of our questions, walked us through the entire facility, and told us about how some of the meals were brought in, and everything that was included in the cost. I have nothing but positive feedback for the staff.
The facility seemed to be well maintained. You can sit down and eat in the dining area or you can take it back to your room. It was nice. There were some other apartments that we didn't see, but you could tell they were doing some renovations. Everything we saw, like the common areas, the hallways, and the apartment that they showed us was nice. I would live in it and it's kind of my standard.
