The Terrace at Mountain Creek is very nice. It's got beautiful surroundings and the staff and the people are very friendly. My brother's apartment has a little kitchenette and a sitting room with three windows. It's very bright when the sun shines in. The dining area is bright, clean, and stylish, too. It looks like a little cafe. It's got a little bar area where you can order food, then there's the fitness room, and the activity room. They have a physical fitness team that comes in each day. They have activities going on all week and several times a month. It's a wonderful value for the money and we could easily afford it.

We visited The Terrace at Mountain Creek and it was nice. I liked it up in the mountains. By January time, the trees were a little bit bare, but in the summertime, we'll probably just see the trees and that's all. But it is kind of old for me. It looked like it had been there for quite a few years. It is a large building.
The room was nice and livable.
I didn't get the hominess of it. The lady was very nice on the tour. I didn't see or meet with the residents, though.
We entered a side door. My daughter asked about the front, and she took us there. The building itself was beautiful. It was really nice outside. I didn't see a courtyard from the inside looking out, though.
They have a laundry room down the hall. The room has a nice refrigerator, and they have what anyone would need going to the dining room for three meals a day.
We saw residents sitting at a table, playing games or something.

My mom moved into the Terrace at Mountain Creek. She has her own apartment. She's good. I saw a video of the community.

The Terrace at Mountain Creek is a good place. My room is real nice, and it's been updated. It's a fairly new place with carpeting and nice wood floors. It's neat. The staff is pretty good. They have decent food, but it could be much better.

I was very impressed with this community. I was given a very good tour and ate lunch as well. The food was very good and was just the right temperature when I got it. The wait staff were friendly and made sure I was satisfied. The rooms are very spacious and have a beautiful view of the mountain. The lady who took me on the tour was very helpful and seemed love what she did. She introduced staff and residents to me as we walked around. The residents all seemed to be engaged in conversations during lunch and as I toured the community they were engaging in bingo. The community had many advantages that made me really consider this community for my parents. The chef meets with the residents once a week and lets them choose what meal they would like the following week. I was very impressed that they are given a voice in what they want to eat. I was also impressed that they have nurses in the building 24 hours a day, this gives me peace of mind that if something were to happen to my parents a nurse could assess them immediately. The last thing that I was impressed with was that their Marketing department is in the building 7 days a week which makes it very convenient for those of us who work Monday thru Friday. I would recommend this community to everyone looking for a safe clean place for their parents.

We visited The Terrace at Mountain Creek. It was very nice and a little dated, but they’re taking care of it. We spent time with a girl who was extremely nice and showed us some things other than the rooms. She really gave us a nice tour of the place. It seemed that they have a wide variety of people. They were having a program in the afternoon where the people had gathered in their dining room. It was full. The people really came for this program, and I was really impressed that ladies with walkers would forego their nap in the afternoon to attend. The entertainment was excellent. We hung around there for a bit and listened. The location of it is really nice. It’s in the woods almost and not really an easy drive to get in and out of there, but once you’re up there on top of the hill, it’s nice. You look out all the windows and see a lot of trees all around you.

My visit at The Terrace at Mountain Creek was very disappointing. The facility in general was tired, worn out, not particularly clean, and badly in need of renovation. The floor plans were not to my liking. The rooms certainly weren't too big. I was looking for a larger place. The problem with the rooms was there were very few that had either a balcony or a patio or a terrace. That's a deal breaker for me; I won't consider a room that doesn't have some place I can be outside. The outside facilities are nonexistent. There's no outside recreation area to speak of. It's built into the side of a mountain, and it's an unfortunate piece of geography. It just didn't come close to meeting what I was looking for. There were no fitness facilities. Unfortunately, of the two people that had been scheduled to show me around, neither was available when I arrived, which was disappointing. The person that did show me around was not very helpful or knowledgeable. Eventually, I caught up with somebody else who was of some more assistance. The dining area wasn't particularly attractive.

My wife and I are at The Terrace at Mountain Creek. My wife is the principal resident and is with assisted living. I'm in independent living. I take care of my wife here. If she has to move to the memory care unit, it's going to be very easy for me to visit her because that unit is just down the hall. I don't have to walk or take a taxi or anything like that.
The price of the facility's services is within the range of our budget. The apartments are spacious and the arrangement is convenient. The surroundings are quite pleasant too. The dining room is attractively set-up. They provide 3 meals a day, few snacks. For us though, we enjoy the pleasure of being able to do some of our own cooking. They permit light cooking such as making cheese or using the microwave to heat water or make some simple dishes. Such regulations are compatible with our lifestyle.
The facility provides many different activities as well as transportation to doctor's appointment and for shopping if you don't have an automobile. The employees are very attentive and busy. They're not overworked, so I don't feel guilty about asking help from them in different ways. This is working out very well in our experience. I would very definitely recommend this facility to others.
