My mother, who is currently 90, Moved to a Senior Independent Living Apartment at The Palms in December of 2020. She is so happy there. She really enjoys the activities, especially Bingo, Happy Hour, and Movies. She always tells me the food is delicious, and really enjoys socializing with other Residents. She has said to me many times how safe she feels at The Palms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. One recent example is when visiting earlier this week, I noticed her AC didn't seem to be cooling properly. We mentioned it to the front desk staff, and within a very short time, someone came to check it out and her AC was repaired promptly along with follow up checks to be sure it was still working properly. The Maintenance Director kept me informed of of what they were doing to help every step of the way. The Executive Director is also consistently very caring and helpful in answering any questions, and keeping Residents and Family informed. The environment is welcoming with lovely fresh flowers all around, and the beautiful outdoor Courtyard is a real plus!

My Parents lived on SeaBrook Island living in a beautiful home. They are in their 80s and we’re very lonely with most of their friends moved away or died. They missed meals and forgot to take their meds many times They relocated to the Palms in August with their dog. They love the food and are meeting new friends there. There are many activities offered and they have a doctor and therapy on the property including a pool. Their apartment was remodeled which include two bedrooms and two bath a good sized living room and dining room and they have their own washer and dryer. Thank you Rhonda for helping make a smooth transition. From the Suhs family

We had a good tour experience of The Palms of Mt. Pleasant. It was a nice facility, and the people that provided the tour were very informative and helpful. It is an older facility, but it's well maintained. They were watching a movie and had a couple of different activities when we went there.

The Palms of Mt. Pleasant is really good and nice. The people are nice, and they have lots of activities. The rooms are very nice and clean. My sister is in independent living. The staff is very professional, nice, and really good. I don't have complaints. They take folks to church and have priests come into the facility. The place is very clean.

Our tour at The Palms of Mt. Pleasant was good, and everything there was very nice. They offered us lunch and the food was excellent. They have a chef and he spoke with us, the food was very nice, fresh, and local food too. They're an older community and I believe they're doing some renovations now.

Palms of Mt. Pleasant was nice; I actually found out its older than I thought it was because it has a newer feel to it. I don’t know if it’s that much newer or they just maintained it better. It was an impressive place. Of the two I have visited, it would clearly be my first choice. It’s well decorated, clean, and friendly environment. The layout was nice too.

The Palms was very pleasant. We did not eat there, but they also said that if we want to, we can join them for dinner or lunch. The people were very nice, but their sales people wanted to pressure us to make a decision. The rooms were very nice. They had a lot of activities. It was a nice community, and it looked very active.
