Very poor call time for rooms. Average 20/ 30 min. If you need immediate care could be life threatening situation. Other than press call button which lights up above door in hall no other form of contact is possible. No method of making an emergency call if time is critical. Obviously could be life threatening situation. Only option is to wait until they decide to come.
Have seen no immediate response to call sign. Have seen nurse assist. walk by room if not assigned to that room when call light is on.
Realize expense involved but need call system that allows communication with a call desk 24/7. Then response can be based on need of patient at that time. I can think of no other way to reduce risk and care of patients.
At present a potentially very dangerous situation exist in my judgement.
