Welcome to Autumn House East

Independent Living

Our aim is to make our residents’ day-to-day lives a bit easier, which enables them to live on their own for as long as possible. Independent living is ideal for seniors who want to continue to participate in their own activities, participate in community life, and enjoy an active lifestyle without the concerns of homeownership, such as yard work or household repairs.

Personal Care

Assistance with activities of daily living. We help aging adults with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, doing laundry, and taking medications. Our staff members, including at least one medical professional, are on call 24 hours a day.

The key difference between independent living and personal care is the level of assistance offered for daily living activities and health care.

Dining

Our executive chefs add love to every meal. All of our living options include three home-cooked meals per day.

Activities

We keep fun front and center. Every day we offer engaging activities including exercise, day outings, and games.

Housekeeping

With everything from tidying up and scrubbing to laundering personal items, we have your needs covered.

Autumn House East was a very nice place. They've got nice staff. The director, Michael, who spoke to us was very kind and gave a lot of information. The rooms seemed very clean. We didn't get a chance to do much touring other than what we saw on the way to his office, but it seemed like they have a complete schedule of activities. Even the dining area that we saw looked very nice.

Autumn House East seemed a little dated so I wasn't sure at first, but when I got in there, the staff was welcoming and very informative on our tour. I met with the person who did the intake and she interviewed me and answered my questions. She was very, very polite, very open, and very honest about the site and what they could offer to my mother. It's located right across the street where Walmart is. There are lots of different restaurants nearby and places to go shopping. We walked through the whole community and I got to meet some residents. It was very clean and very nice. Everybody seemed very comfortable. She invited us back for food and to have my mom come and have lunch. So, they were very, very accommodating. They have a nice courtyard and what's nice about it, too, is you don't hear the sounds of the traffic on the main road. It's very, very quiet.
