The walk-through and the tour at Chestnut Ridge was pretty good. The two apartments that they showed us were nice. The amenities that come along with being in a senior care facility like that, such as the dining facility, the commonly shared areas, and the sitting areas were all kept clean and maintained. You had a reception area that was wide open, and not congested. When I first went in there before I set this meeting up, the receptionist was warm and welcoming. So, it was a good experience. Marissa, I believe she's the manager of the place, she did do a walk around with us. She was the one that conducted the tours. She was very informational, provided all the information, and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. They showed us two different apartments. One was larger than the other, so we can get an idea of the type of space that was available. She showed me the dining area. There was a space that was off the back of the building, where you can dine on a large patio overlooking the back of the building. It has a wooded area in the back that's maintained up to the edge of the woods by the establishment. It's pretty nice, I imagine that's going to be beautiful during the spring when the trees and the leaves start coming back in.

My wife and I will be moving into Chestnut Ridge. It's beautiful, and it's less rent for more stuff. They have all kinds of programs there. The facility is in tree-lined suburban Chester, it's very quiet, with no loud music, no race, and nothing down the street. It's not far from the mall and within reach of financial institutions and food supermarkets, and they have a bakery. All week long, every day they have a program for senior citizens. They give you a copy of what will be going on every day, seven days a week. They have activities, a bistro, and parking for anyone that has a vehicle. They have art classes, and drawing and coloring contests. They have programs for people that don't have cars where they can get paratransit to take them shopping, and to doctors. They have brain enhancement to help your memory. It's just totally beautiful, and I see why it's a hidden gem in Chester. We will have an apartment; the design and floor plans are beautiful.

I will be moving into Chestnut Ridge. They are very clean, very orderly, very friendly, and very sociable. Both the residents and the staff are very friendly. It's well-designed for someone in a wheelchair or someone who's walking. The room has its own kitchen and bath, a living room, a bedroom, and ample closet space. They have an exercise room and an onsite driver and van for local travel. They also have additional rooms for a small gatherings, like playing cards, or some other activity with the residents. They have a meal plan. When I got there, they were revamping some of the apartments and some of the common spaces. It's very clean and very well-kept. It looks like a hotel, it's very nice.

Chestnut Ridge welcomed us during our tour. We liked what we saw. We liked the cleanliness of the facility and how the apartments were very well put together for us seniors. Everything was so smooth, clean, and nice. It was such a beautiful, bright apartment where the sun could shine in and I could have my plants grow beautifully. It's got a stove, a refrigerator, and closet space. The staff was very helpful, very courteous to us, and gave me time to fill out the applications. I noticed the residents were pleasant, too. They even greeted my husband and me. They made us feel good.

I toured Chestnut Ridge. It's affordable and very clean. The staff are very nice. I even went to the side of the assisted living care, and they were very nice there, too. Independent living has bingo and I know that the assisted living has movie night because I was there the day that they had a movie night. They have different occasions like turkey dinners around Thanksgiving or Christmas or stuff like that. They have a cafeteria, so you could get meals there all the time. There's a few options and they make it very easy for you to make a decision. It's very nice. I recommend it highly. They were all very nice, even the residents were very friendly. For the food, they have options that you could choose from. You pay monthly fees and it's one meal or two meals. You can go down and have lunch or dinner. They have a laundry room on every floor. They also show you where the exits and entrances are for emergencies. I very much enjoyed it. I'm hoping that we have a good fit. It looks wonderful.

Residences at Chestnut Ridge is a very well-kept place. It's clean and it looks like they have a lot of activities and things for the residents to do. The apartment had a nice layout with a very good view. I liked that they provide a good meal plan that's affordable, so they don't have to worry about cooking if they don't have to. They also have on-site physical therapists, a workout center, and a little pavilion walkway in the back where you can walk around. The staff was very helpful, very nice, and very courteous as well.

We toured Residences at Chestnut Ridge for my mother and aunt, and they liked it. They liked the price of the room and board, we lived around the corner from that place, and mother liked the room. They had a little kitchenette, and if you wanted to come down and eat, you could for a fee, but they don't have too many activities. It was clean, the room was a nice size, and so my mother was happy with it. They had a therapist on site, and the staff was really nice.

Residences at Chestnut Ridge was gorgeous, but we couldn't afford it. It was very nice, very inviting, the people were friendly, the staff was very informative, and could tell us about the actual benefits my aunt could actually get. The rooms were clean and tidy, and it's really a very nice place. They were able to get a bus to go to church, play bingo every day, and have a movie night.

Residences at Chestnut Ridge was pretty good and clean. The people were very attentive and very nice. The staff who toured us was very pleasant. The food was excellent. The dining area was well lit, and they take care of you. They play ball word games, and the piano, and have sing-alongs.

My tour at Residences at Chestnut Ridge was nice. It's a nice and clean building, about 20 years old. The people were very nice and the apartments were really nicely sized. It's also very inexpensive. They had independent living and assisted living so in case my sister needs to go to assisted living, she can stay right there. They had a menu that you can select from. I don't think they had enough activities and I think they could offer more. They had a coffee bar and made fresh pastry for them.
