We went to Brookdale Wilsonville. The staff were great. We liked this place. They were a little bit out of my in-law's price range, which is why we did not choose them. And the apartments were small, but we really liked everything else about them. The people there were great. The facility was nice. They had great activities.
One thing we didn't like there is that they didn't have transportation at the moment, instead they would call you like a Dial-A-Ride. But we wanted a place that had transportation where we knew that they got our parents there, that they were there to pick them up, and that they were there to watch over them. So that was one thing that we didn't like.
They had all kinds of activities. While we were there, they were doing an exercise class, and there were a lot of people in it. They have games, bingo, and a lot of different musicians come in. They have great activities planned. They offered us a meal, but we didn't have time. But we looked at their menu, and it looked incredible.

I visited Brookdale Wilsonville twice, once by myself and once with my brother. They have a nice facility, and they do offer both independent living and assisted living. They offer one thing that is different, they have assisted living on one level of the facility and independent living on another level. I think the assisted living was on the second floor. They had a nice dining facility. It was a little older facility, the exercise area was just a little corner off in a community area, the same thing with media or movie theater type thing. It was just a large screen TV off in the corner of a large common area. It wasn't anything to get excited about at all. The manager that I met was quite cordial and helpful and gave me brochures and information.

Brookdale Wilsonville was very spacious, clean, and inviting. I actually did eat there a couple of different times, and the food was quite good. The staff was very, very nice and helpful. My mother-in-law was in their independent living. It was really great. It was a very nice place. They had lots of activities for my mother-in-law. They did bus outings. They went shopping, and they did a really good job with that.

We like Brookdale Wilsonville. My wife, particularly, likes it very much. We like its proximity to shopping. She can just walk over and buy something. We took home a small plant that was a present from the staff. The cleanliness and upkeep was good. From the second floor and down the stairs, you're in the dining room. They had individual bedrooms where people could plant things. It was very nice.

I went to Brookdale Wilsonville. I toured the downstairs and went inside. The third floor upstairs was where assisted would be. While I did not go into one of the rooms, I got a real sense of the place. They share the living area, as far as where they go and eat and so forth.
I felt like they had really good COVID measures. They had the front door locked, so people can't just walk in. They have to come and lock it. They had lots of sanitizers where you sign in, so they really know who's coming and going if they ever had to do any tracing. It didn't smell bad, and it was cheerful. The gal who I talked with and showed me around, Cathy, was very good at communicating and very inviting. I had very little interaction with them, but everything I had was just real fine. Everything I saw, I liked. I was impressed.

Brookdale Wilsonville was very nice. The apartment was very nice and well taken care of. Everything in the building was well taken care of. The food was very good and the personnel was very helpful. We really enjoyed the visit.

Helpful staff - pleasant aura - people seem content -clean interiorly & exteriorly, convenient to banking, shopping, medical facilities. Was our first choice to move too but two things concerned us: 1) Two bedrooms have just one small bathroom and no cottages. We'd need two baths. 2) Too long of a wait for meals. Gene is diabetic and its important to eat at scheduled times. We both prefer open dining.

Brookdale Wilsonville is nice and has everything I need, but I've only been here for a month. The food is adequate. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's OK. There are a lot of activities to do here and a bus that takes us places. The staff is very nice. I would have loved to have a door from my room that goes straight outside so I wouldn't have to go down the hallway and out the door, but I knew that when I moved in.
