My in-laws are living in The Forum at Knightsbridge independent living. I have a very positive review of them. I think that the staff is very attentive to the people. They bring in a lot of different activities and try to engage their residents. The administration office is very easy to work with and very accommodating to help with other needs that might not be your standard needs.
It's very clean. When I was there, they were upgrading all the carpet again. Each floor is color-coordinated so the residents know which floor they are at.
They have all different activities each day, they have a board with the activities that they have for the residents. They have two private cars to take residents to appointments or wherever they need to go. They have a van that takes them shopping or to different places each week. They have church services and a choir. They have happy hours and theme nights for holidays.
They love the food. It's private dining so they have a choice of different things and my mother-in-law very much enjoys the food.

My dad moved into The Forum at Knightsbridge. It's close to home. It's lovely. They have excellent food and good activities. Most of all, they have very friendly residents that are very open to new people. It's excellent. So, he's benefiting from more activity, group exercises, and activities where the groups get together. Everyone seems to be having a nice time. They brought up food when we moved, and it's excellent. It's a good value because they give you two free months. I'm told that all the residents are immunized, as are the staff. The visitors are highly recommended to wear masks if they're immunized or not immunized.

My parents moved here from New York into independent living to be closer to us and we could not say more great things about the Forum. The people are beyond outstanding, the building and ground well cared for, the apartments are comfortable, the food great and the programing has a little something for everyone. Their response to the pandemic was first rate and showed just how much they care for everyone living there. If you are looking for a wonderful facility for yourself or for your parents, full of light, both literal and figuratively you won't regret the Forum!

As a resident in Independent Living at The Forum at Knightsbridge for the last year and a half, I can heartily recommend it as the next best thing to home. The administration and staff bend over backwards to make sure each need and most wants are readily addressed: the apartments (many different floorplans) are spacious, the décor tasteful, the food delicious, and the activities varied enough to suit all interests – as all senior living should be. One of the qualities that makes The Forum unique is the omnipresent sense of hospitality and inclusion. New residents are quickly made to feel at home by other residents and are able to make their transition to communal living with ease. The administration encourages and appreciates the exchange of ideas from residents via a resident council with standing committees concerned with activities, food, and welcome, though the office door is always open to individuals at any time. It’s long been my suspicion that one of the requirements for employment at The Forum is an ability to be happy in one’s work – frowns are rare here, and efficiency with a smile is standard. I was privileged to see this in action several weeks ago when the frigid weather that’s plagued the entire country this winter brought some damage in the middle of the night to the public areas of The Forum: the entire maintenance staff was called back in after they’d made it to their own homes through some rather treacherous road conditions. These ten or so men returned to The Forum and worked quickly and professionally, even a bit enthusiastically, from can to can’t, emptying the lounge area, offices, exercise room, and library of furniture, stemming the flow from broken pipes and preparing for the first stages of repair. Most of them were here all night, as was our executive director, some still here at noon the next day. The weather hasn’t quit its onslaught, nor have the shovels and blowers for snow removal outside, making inside and out safe for the residents. I’ve run out of superlatives, except to say that I wouldn’t be surprised to hear a chorus or two of “Whistle While You Work” whenever the next project crops up. The Forum residents remain safe, warm, well-fed, and lucky to be here.

The Forum is my second choice. It is a little bit older place than the other facility that I had visited. The problem I have with this facility is that if I needed assisted living, I would have to move to another facility. Also, they did have transportation services but you have to pay for its services. It is not free. However, what I hate to give up with The Forum is that they have apartments with terraces that overlook nice scenery.

The Forum at Knightsbridge was a very nice facility and a little more expensive. The staff were very nice and very good. Everybody was very nice. There was no contention about how good this facility is, but it really went down to the cost. So we didn't feel like it was a right fit for my mother-in-law.

Forum at Knightsbridge has a dietitian that makes meals more for the needs of the residents. Unless you have a medical reason that you need a special meal.
