My mom is living at The Village at Unity, and it's wonderful. It was clean. Everybody was wonderful, and there's lots of activities to do. She had a little more space in her area. The location of the room that was available for her is just really perfect. It's close to everything that she would want to do. The food seems to be good too, and it's a wonderful experience she's having. She's just moved into their independent living this week. So far, so good. If she would need more help, then we can hire home health care through Unity for her. For activities, they have much more than what she would be interested in. There are lots of choices. I also think the price is very reasonable.

We're living in The Village at Unity. They were going to raise the rent a considerable amount, but that didn't happen. We've been here for over five years now, and we have been very satisfied with it. It's a fairly sizable complex. The staff is very good. In the restaurant itself, we have high school seniors staff members, and they are very well trained and very efficient for the old people. There is no end of activities if you want to participate. We have a resident who plays the piano for us twice a week, and there's another woman who plays the piano during the dinner hour. There are all kinds of activities, but they've been kinda curtailed. The food is very good. We only have one meal a day as part of our food allowance. However, we have a cafe which starts at 8:30 in the morning and serves breakfast all the way up until 6:30 at night. They have a very extensive menu. We could have everything up to filet mignon. We're in a 2-bedroom layout. We got plenty of room here.

My mother is in The Village at Unity looks very good so far. It costs cheaper than the hourly rate for home care. They have everything you need in terms of amenities, and their dining services are very good. We chose this place compared to others because of the amenities, pricing, and location

We live in The Village at Unity and we're satisfied with it. The staff is very helpful. The amenities are fine, and there's a lot going on here. The food is usually pretty good. They have a library and a chapel, and the grounds are well kept up. We have a small apartment, which is fine. The place is neat, but expensive.

I have worked as an executive and consultant in senior living and care for over a decade (but never for this community) and authored a montly column called Senior Lifestyles in a western New York publication for many years. I am very famililar with the features, benefits, pricing and reputaions of every senior community in western New York. When it came time to advise my own mother and our family on where my mother should move to for independent living, my only recommendation was Village at Unity. My mother immediately felt at home with her immaculate and spacious apartment, great dining options at three restaurants, transportation, apartment housekeeping, a screened in porch, an extensive calandar of activities, exercise options, a movie theatre, wonderful staff and friendly neighbors who have made her move into a positive lifestyle transition. She only wished she had moved to Village at Unity years ago!

We're at The Villages. The senior living portion is good. We have all kinds of transportation, including three buses and five cars that take us pretty much anywhere within a certain range. We have a coffee shop and two restaurants that open from 3:30 to 6:30. We're in a 2-bedroom unit, it's a nice size, the layout is good, there are closets and storage spaces. They have a very friendly staff, and they already knew our names.

Village at Unity was a fantastic, neat, and clean place. I had a cup of coffee, and the food I saw I was fantastic. The people were friendly. My wife is living there now, and I highly recommend it.

At The Villages at Unity, the staff was very nice, and the rooms were small but pleasant. Everything was fine. The eating facilities were very nice, but the overall expense is more than I could handle. We had lunch there, and the food was very good. There were several activities listed, but I did not do any.

We actually love the Villages. It’s just what we were looking for and my mother seems very happy. They have a movie theater, a restaurant, and a meditation room where they have rosary and religious services. This one fits my mother more because it’s in a community that she’s lived in for a number of years and she can go to the same church and the same shopping. It’s new, very well-maintained, and the rooms are wonderful. She was able to move just about all of her furniture from the house into the place, she’s met a number of people who are old friends of her that she connected with, and it’s just a very nice facility.

The Villages at Unity is a beautiful community but expensive. I would have liked my uncle to stay there, but he can't afford it. The meals are wonderful.

My mother has been in The Village at Unity for quite a while now. The staff is awesome. She is in a one-bedroom, and it's very good and nice sized. They play bingo, and they take them out on outings.

The Villages at Unity was OK, but I don't think they represented themselves as well as they should have. They didn't show me everything the facility had. The part that they should have showed me, there was a community park, which they didn't show me at all, and from what I saw, it was really dark, and I was not impressed with it. They staff was friendly, but like I said, they should have shown me the entire facility and not just one portion of it.

Everybody recommended The Villages at Unity. It was clean, and actually, it was brand new. The rooms were smaller. I was shocked at the size of living room. I don't think you could have gotten much in it. Also they didn't provide furniture at all; you have to provide everything for yourself. Also, I thought this place was impersonal. I didn't think the staff was as warm and welcoming. Actually I only met with the intake person, and I just wasn't impressed by her. She just presented what they had to offer, and it was more like a business thing for her. The atmosphere of this community was just different. It did have a lot, like it had a movie theater, a coffee bar, and things like that, but I didn't get the warm fuzzy feeling that I got at another facility. Nothing stood out to me with their menu; it was just a regular kind of menu. Also their dining room was not elegant; it was just like a restaurant.

I've had a couple of meals at Villages at Unity. They were very nice. It was like going to a fancy restaurant. The rooms were very nice. Somebody comes in to do housekeeping once a week. The living room is very spacious. There's a little tiny den and a nice little porch. The kitchen is small but adequate, especially when people go to the dining room for meals. I like the location, and I like the size of the room.

The Villages is very nice. My parents are very happy there. It is very clean and the food is good. The staff is very friendly. The maintenance people come in and help them hang pictures. There are different things you can do there every month. They take them on trips and shopping tour three times a week. It's very affordable at $3600 a month for both my parents and that includes food and everything. So far, they're very happy with it.
