Almost four years ago, health issues forced us to find a retirement community that would meet our needs. We visited a few such communities in the area and found nothing suitable available. A visiting nurse suggested the Cottages at Tanglewood Manor saying they were very nice. We had not heard of them.
We promptly scheduled a visit and was met by CEO Terri. We were amazed at how nice the cottages are and how they met our needs. We signed a rental agreement the next day!
Some overlook the park and ponds with fountains and the gazebo where summer musical events take place.
Three meals a day are available from the kitchen at a very reasonable cost and delivered to the cottage.
The general staff is very amiable and helpful. The maintenance staff is wonderful. No matter the issue, they are prompt, capable and skilled, and a pleasure to have around.
