The tour experience at Atria Kew Gardens was very good. The place was excellent and I looked at their independent living. It looked like they offered a very good variety of activities to be available. They have a very lovely dining space and a very comfortable apartment. There was a chart of activities on the wall that you could participate in and particularly tai chi was the one that interested my husband. The person who gave the tour was knowledgeable and cordial. The parking was not an issue because we were driven there in a courtesy car. The place had pretty flowers outside.

I am moving into Atria Kew Gardens. It's a very nice looking place. It almost looks like it's in a park, and very nicely landscaped. It's much more roomy than where I'm at now. There were a lot of closets for a one-bedroom apartment. I had lunch there, and it was very good. I saw the activity director briefly, and they talked about James Stewart. It looked like they were discussing movies. I was told that there's a walking club. I have two two cats, and they have someone who comes in and watches your animals if you do need that. They have transportation. Those were two things that helped me decide, and overall it was very nice. It's very well-kept, and it's very attractive. The staff was very, very nice and personable. It's just got that good vibe there; that is why I'm moving in. You know, it's just a really nice atmosphere; that's what made me decide on there.

I am currently a resident of Atria Kew Gardens, and I like it here. The meals are good, and the service is good. It's just not in my budget anymore. The staff is friendly, too. They help us as much as they can, even during the pandemic. They tried to be creative in engaging the residents. The facility is very accommodating. My room is nice and spacious. I asked and received a two-bedroom. I knew I could maintain the rent for awhile, but after I moved in, I wanted to get more stable financing, and that didn't happen. I'm in a situation now where I can't afford it anymore, but the staff is good and friendly. They do what they're supposed to do. If I have an issue, I let them know, and they correct it as quickly as they can. I really have no complaints about them. They have an outdoor area here, but with the pandemic, there are a lot of things that I believe they were doing before I moved in that they've had to cancel. They only have activities in line with what they're able to do during the pandemic, like balcony gatherings and a giant turkey that visited each room for Thanksgiving (and if you wanted to take pictures with the turkey, you could). The activities are basically individualized. We play bingo through listening to the loudspeaker or the walkie-talkie, and they also set up games for us. It's pricey, but they offer a lot, so someone really has to have a high income level to live here.

Atria Kew Gardens looked great. They had large very nice rooms. They also had great bathrooms and walk-in showers. The person who accommodated me was a very nice woman. She was very helpful. The dining area looked nice. They had art classes and various exercises, too. Overall, Atria looked good.

I was very interested in Atria Kew Gardens. Everything was nice, and I was very tempted to go there. The room that I saw was adequate. The staff was very gracious, very kind, courteous, pleasing, and helpful. The activities looked pretty good.

The upgraded computer printer in the library has not been fixed for two weeks. Atria does not print anything for residents. Atria refuses to serve the ketogenic diet for cancer. Do yourself a favor--don't schedule a tour.
