The Senior Residence at St. Peter the Apostle looked good. I got my brother the next day, and he's been there since July. It's working very well, and it's perfect for him, and the place is quiet. They offer 3 meals a day, they clean his room, change his sheets, towels, and everything once a week, they manage his medication, but other than that he's not assisted in any way. He has his own room, they supply cable, electricity, he can do his own laundry, they have a washer and dryer there, they have an exercise room, a library, and a game room. They eat together, but breakfast is on your own. I'm very happy with it.

The person in-charge of showing me around Senior Residence at St. Peter the Apostle was not personable, but the lady in charge of the food was able to pay attention to my request. She was very nice and very useful, and she did all she could. I saw the library and part of the premises. Everything was very clean. My impression was good. I liked the environment. I liked everything. I would stay there even without the pool or the amenities.

The first one I visited was the St. Peter (The Senior Residence at St. Peter the Apostle). It was under construction right now. It was a nice place, but it wasn’t for my father right now. The people were very nice and very helpful. It was more like a school though. It was a place where the nuns and the priests lived, and then it was converted over for seniors. It was OK. The people were nice. The place was alright; it was nice and affordable, but it just wasn’t for us. It was more like a dormitory, e.g., like a bunch of rooms in a long hallway. It wasn’t like home. They did take them out like go to the mall, they go to shows, they play bingo, and they have arts and crafts.

The people working at Senior Residence were very friendly, very accommodating and very informative. They knew all the residents very well. It was lovely and I liked it very much. However, for my mom, it wouldn't work because she wanted a private bathroom and most of the units there had shared bathrooms. For me, I would go there. The rooms were just at a right size for some who did need a lot stuff in their room. It was smaller than the other residences I had seen, but again, I guessed that’s how they kept the price so low. I thought what they offered was great as far as I they had services outside the building if people needed a ride to the doctor or the grocery shops. It was a pretty small community. There were only 20 or 24 beds there. They had an activity room where they could watch TV or do puzzles or do special project. They also had a library which was quiet and secluded. It would be nice if you wanted some nice and quiet space. They also had a sun room which was very well kept. The dining area looked fine. They had a continental type of breakfast. Their chef there was very nice that if a couple of them couldn’t get out for thanksgiving dinner with their family members, she made them a thanksgiving meal.
