I was very impressed with Harmony at Reynolds Mountain. I wanted to move in tomorrow. I thought the size of the whole apartment was very nice. I would move in tomorrow if I could. I'm at the point where I really want to be out of here and then to a place like that because it was so interesting. They have a cocktail hour twice a week, they have all kinds of activities that sounded good, and they would take you to the doctor's appointments. The only thing I have a hard time with was because I had to park in the visitor's parking lot, it was very difficult for me to walk up the hill to where you had to go in. My son came with me and helped me up the hill. I think if I'm in independent living and I'm driving my car that would be somewhat of a problem because then I would have to walk up the hill to get to the front door. But I thought the apartments that they showed me are very promising. Everything was there. They had beautiful kitchens, stoves, and refrigerators. They have a patio downstairs.
I thought the person who gave the tour was excellent. One other thing that I think they should have had that they didn't, is that if you're living in the independent section, there are no railings on long walks to the dining rooms and whatnot. I think if you're independent, they figure that you can do anything you want. You can live independently but show me a railing on a long walk. The staff was phenomenal. She was very, very good.

Harmony at Reynolds Mountain was more modern and up-to-date. It had a fresher look to it and the community was more to our taste. It would be a community that I could see myself in down the road. We only saw an apartment and we liked that they had the option of a continuum of care on-site and that was important to us. They also provide transportation. Looked like they had a nice range of activities such as classes and things of interest.

Harmony at Reynolds Mountain was nice, but it's way too expensive. It's beautiful. It's clean and looked modern. Nothing was worn out or torn out. I didn't get to meet much of the staff, but it looked like a very high-class place. The staff during the tour was very nice. They talked about what kind of games are played in the game room and what the exercises are, any group activities or single activities that were available for anybody who lives there. The rooms were very nice, very nicely furnished and clean. Everything looked new. It was nice. If you can afford to go live there, then do it.

I went to see Harmony at Reynolds Mountain. It's wonderful. It's small and intimate compared to the other ones I have been looking at, so it could be very comfortable. The people there care; however, there's no outside area available, no place to walk around, and nothing like that. If I was ready to go, I could go there, especially if I needed assisted living.

The Crossings at Reynolds Mountain was very welcoming, but bigger than we'd like to have for our own living accommodations. We would like something a little bit smaller in size. The rooms were fine and I didn't have an objection to them. The staff was cordial and friendly. They also offer transportation, which is nice.

The Crossings at Reynolds Mountain was OK, but they didn't have any outside activities or swimming pool or anything like that. The apartments were pretty small. The staff was nice and informative. They had a library, activity rooms and planned activities. They just fell short of what we're looking for.

The Crossings at Reynolds Mountain is clean. It seems to be a good candidate. However, the biggest problem is that they're right in the middle of a bunch of traffic in that area. The gentleman who took me on the tour was very knowledgeable. The apartments looked good. They have all kinds of exercise, fun games, and trips; they seemed to be in good shape that way. I talked to a couple of the residents and asked them how their lunch went, and they're seemed pleased. I didn't talk to anybody that wasn't happy to be there.
