The staff at Kingsland Walk Senior Living was very, very nice. The atmosphere was very warm and very inviting, but the apartments were not complete apartments. They didn't have stoves, for instance. I was looking for a more complete apartment living situation. Their dining area was very nice.
I saw a group of residents doing a painting activity. They looked very happy and content, including the people that I passed on the hall.
I didn't like it because I didn't care fo the neighborhood. I wouldn't have been comfortable in that neighborhood. At my age, I'm less interested at hanging out in the Loop or being close to it than I was years ago. The facility itself is new, so it's very clean and nice.
