We toured The Waters of Oakdale. It's a brand new building. I describe it as clinical. Everything was super clean. We toured on a Saturday afternoon with the activities director, only because it's convenient for us, which I do realize is not convenient for much of the staff. And she had commented that she hadn't done a tour in a long time, so honestly, we felt super rushed. So it was not a good tour in that we felt rushed. When we toured the waters, we were in and out in 30 minutes. The apartment was new. They don't have any ground-level apartments. We did not like that it was an upper level and there was no patio, no deck, and it looked out on a public, commercial parking lot, with a gas station and a store parked. The apartment itself was beautiful and new and very clinical. Everything was white. It was not welcoming at all. It was more industrial. The dining area was fine dining, expensive, very well-kept.
