I liked Waltonwood at Twelve Oaks because they offer a couple of meals each day and had some religious programs, so that if I wanted to go to church, I wouldn't necessarily have to drive somewhere else to go. They had a priest or somebody that would come and do some of the programs, which was nice. They had a variety of different things that you could do to help keep you busy during the day.
One of the apartments I saw, you had to bring your own furniture. They also had some apartments with a washer and dryer in them, while some didn't. I prefer the washer and dryer, but I could get used to some of the ones that you had to go down the hall and share. So, they had a variety and that was very nice.
The person that gave me the tour was very down to earth and understood what you would be interested in and what you wouldn't. Plus, most of them seemed to know the people that lived there. If they saw somebody in the hall, they would say hi and say their first name. They made it more friendly. The facilities were very nice and clean.

Communication with the IL manager was horrible - my sister had some issues but they weren’t handled properly at all. We did all they requested and didn’t follow through with their part at all. In the end it is just business - they don’t care about their residents at all.

Waltonwood Twelve Oaks has everything that a senior would be looking for. It's very clean, has good food, and good rooms. The staff was very, very nice to me, and the place was spick-and-span. It's well-kept and is located in an area that's close to a mall; they have a courtyard and a gym.

I toured Waltonwood at Twelve Oaks and talked to some people. It's a very nice facility. I looked at an apartment, which was a two-bedroom, two-bath. The staff was very good. The ones that I coordinated with were very helpful. The menu looked great, and the dining facility looked wonderful and very elegant, plus they had a little café for light lunches. It looked very appealing.

Waltonwood was nice, really clean, and decorated well. They have pleasant surroundings and the outside area was nice. They have two-bedroom units that my mother wanted. The staff there seemed really nice. They have really good food. This is one of the facilities that I like the best.
