About This Community
Brightview Annapolis, Brightview’s fourteenth community in Maryland and third community in Anne Arundel County, is under construction at 1935 Generals Highway in Annapolis.
The community will include 88 independent living apartment homes, 53 assisted living apartment homes, and a 24 apartment neighborhood known as Wellspring Village®, specially-designed and dedicated to dementia and Alzheimer’s Care. The architecture style of the community is reminiscent of the Federalist and Georgian style characteristic of homes in the Annapolis area.
“We are excited to bring a third option to the seniors and their families in the Anne Arundel County region,” says Marilynn Duker, Brightview’s President. “Brightview South River and Brightview Severna Park have exceeded expectations.”
Brightview communities are known for offering an engaging social environment with housekeeping, dining, transportation and maintenance provided by a highly trained, and caring staff. Designed to provide caring services and a vibrant lifestyle, plans for the community include a café/bar, a beauty/barber salon, fitness center, and several other amenity spaces.
With a desirable and accessible location, Brightview Annapolis will be a convenient location for residents and their families. Westfield Annapolis Mall, Gateway Village, Annapolis Towne Center, and the Festival at Riva provide high-end grocery and retail options within a mile of the community, and include high-quality stores such as Nordstrom, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and Target, among others.

The facilities, rooms and grounds are lovely. The staff has a lot to be desired. Half of them are Rude, Nasty and Unpleasant; and not welcoming. Kindness and manners should be number one for the residents and their families!!! At times they treat you like your a prisoner. This is a senior living facility that is very costly, with residents who have lived a long time and have may have needs. They should be pampered and given respect. Rules and rules, ridiculous! If you're new, be sure to ask and ask over and over for the procedures, because no one tells you. The activity staff and maintenance service are wonderful!!!! Beautiful place, but not friendly or kind once you move in!!!

My mom is already in the independent living at Brightview Annapolis, but she will be moving into the assisted living side this weekend. The people are wonderful. The food is wonderful, too. It is a beautiful and clean community. They have been very helpful with the transition from the independent to the assisted side. If you have someone looking for something like that, then I would highly recommend this place. It is an expensive place. Every day they have a schedule of activities. They have exercise in the morning, bingo, they have music shows two or three times a week, and different people will come in and play music. They also have memory games, a book club, bridge, and field trips. They also go out to lunch and dinner. They have a movie theater, a beauty shop, and an exercise room. They have separate people that come in and lead exercises for seniors. They have a happy hour every day, and you can either eat a sandwich or a small meal for dinner. The dining room is really nice. They provide two meals a day, i.e., breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is more like a continental breakfast, and then on Sunday, they have brunch from 11 AM to 2 P.M. That's the only meal on Sunday. All of the residents have a refrigerator, stove, and microwave if they wanted to just have a snack or a sandwich.
